Before anybody buys Margaret Hodge’s book or listens to anything she says, please remember that she benefited personally to the tune of tens of millions of pounds from the apartheid South African state https://t.co/EXW2FfeRcr
This week, my Gaza (Public Inquiry) Bill returns to Parliament. This Bill would establish a full investigation into Britain’s complicity in genocide.
The last Prime Minister blocked our efforts to uncover the truth. Will the new Prime Minister do the same?
🚨 Another Canary bank account has been frozen, and our money held
Recent events have created circumstances in which we have been left with no responsible alternative but to suspend Canary operations immediately.

The two workers who remained 170 meters underground for 9 days following Nepal floods have made it safely. I see no one sharing. If they were dead, everyone would share! Share positivity...
Disabled people are calling on @JeremyVineOn5 to stop platforming harmful narratives about us.
Instead of listening to those concerns, Jeremy Vine is allegedly blocking disabled people who speak out.
That is not accountability. It is silencing criticism.
In 1988 Dolly Parton pulled every 7th and 8th grader in Sevier County into a room and told them to pick a buddy.
She made them sign a contract.. if BOTH graduate, she hands you both $500. One fails, nobody gets paid.
The county dropout rate went from 35% to 6%.
She handed out the checks herself.
In 1989 she offered $500 to every kid in the county who wanted to go to the local college.
When Gatlinburg burned in 2016, she sent 900 families $1,000 a month for six months.
You've probably heard that part.
Here's the part you haven't:
The fund raised more than expected, so she showed up in May and handed every one of those families another $5,000 on top.
Then she quietly put $3 million into the recovery group that handles the years after the news trucks leave.
She built her county an entire hospital.
She played a benefit concert in 2007, Dollywood and the Stampede matched it, and LeConte Medical Center opened in 2010 with a birthing unit and a women's center in it.
In 2022 she started covering 100% of tuition, books, and fees for Dollywood employees.
Full-time, part-time, AND seasonal.
In 1991 she paid for a bald eagle sanctuary because the birds couldn't be released back into the wild, no press release.
And when Hurricane Helene came through here in Western North Carolina, she wrote a personal check for $1 million and her companies matched it.
She didn't owe North Carolina anything, but she helped us anyway.
She started the Imagination Library because her daddy couldn't read or write. Before he passed, he told her it was the most important thing she ever did.
Rest in Peace, Dolly 🇺🇸
The deadline for the University of Bristol to lodge an application to the Court of Appeal to challenge my victory at the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) has now passed.
It appears that the EAT has not received any such submission. This means that the legal attempt to undermine our victory protecting anti-Zionist views in UK law is now at an end.
All that remains is for the University of Bristol to compensate me for wrongful dismissal and discrimination. And, I look forward to Bristol University inviting me to discuss my reinstatement as Professor of Political Sociology.
I have written to the Cabinet Secretary to seek assurances that the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff, who was lobbying for the privatised water industry until recently, has had no involvement in talks about the future of Thames Water.
Andy Burnham's Labour Govt has still not announced that it will lift Yvette Cooper's proscription - which results in thousands of good people being arrested (& sentenced) as terrorists.
Please RT this until they do.
Thank you very much.
Off to court. Been poring over the papers all night.
I feel a huge weight of responsibility for all those charged under the Terrorism Act. I also feel absolutely furious that the Labour Friends of Israel government has been permitted to delay and delay.
