Ruto just spent 40 minutes trying to create a false equivalence between our national values set out in the constitution and his so called โdevelopmentโ. Kenyans, please trust me when i tell you there is a reason the Preamble comes before Article 43. You donโt get to the โdevelopment โ clauses until and unless you have taken into account the reasons we passed this constitution in the first place. Democracy, Human Rights, Freedom, Equality, Rule of Law and Social Justice.
I remember that moment very well. It was 3 minutes past 9pm and I had just arrived home after walking from Nairobi CBD. We passed by Githurai and the air was full of gunshot sounds. Only to risk it all and then he calls us treasonous criminals. And the fact that we had already told them we dont want the finance bill but they insisted on passing it by fire by force was a middle finger to us the citizenry. That night I made a decision that I wont vote for him in 2027 and my decision stands to date.
Watu wa Bungoma wamechangia Sifuna kwa ground.
The last person wananchi walichangia ended up winning the Ol Kalou parliamentary seat.
Hii ni kama imeenda !
I have seen many people ask, "What is Edwin Sifuna's manifesto?" To me, sending William Ruto home is a manifesto in itself.
Why? Because it represents the promise of restoring the right to life and protecting constitutional freedoms. The current administration has overseen excessive use of force against young people exercising their constitutional right to protest.
The youth have been unfairly labelled as criminals for demanding accountability, while the rising cost of living and increased taxation have placed an immense burden on ordinary citizens.
Removing the current administration is about more than politics it is about creating a country where citizens can live without fear, where abductions and enforced disappearances come to an end, and where people are free to exercise their constitutional rights without intimidation.
For us to live William Ruto Must Go!
No one is coming to rescue you. Get up, chase your goals, embrace the struggle, and never let temporary setbacks define your future. The man who keeps showing up will eventually reap the rewards of his persistence.
Tycoon Peter Munga, alongside his business partner George Kariithi, is at the centre of a bitter dispute with Chinese investors from Fenxi Mining Industry Co. Ltd over ownership and operational rights to coal blocks C and D in Kituiโs Mui Basin, with the deposits estimated to be worth over Ksh 3.9 trillion.
The conflict has intensified after the Chinese firm claimed that Munga and Kariithi, through Great Lakes Corporation, failed to pay the agreed $3.875 million (Ksh 500,843,750) contribution towards the concession, prompting Fenxi to threaten arbitration proceedings in Mauritius and accuse the Kenyan government of allowing the obstruction to continue for more than a decade.
