A significant step forward in the Save Soil movement!
We are honored to sign an MoU with Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) — one of Indonesia’s leading institutions — to collaborate on research, education, and advocacy in soil security, environmental conservation, and sustainable agriculture.
This collaboration between Save Soil and UGM’s Center of Excellence Working Group for Food Security aims to provide scientific and practical solutions for soil conservation and environmental sustainability.

Every minute, fertile soil is lost.
Every minute, deserts expand.
But we still have a choice.
This World Day To Combat Desertification and Drought, let’s protect the living skin of our planet.
Because the health of our soil is the future of our food, water, and life itself.

Across farms and gardens, soil blocks with seeds are quietly replacing plastic seed covers — reducing waste right from the root.
This simple shift helps eliminate plastic bags in nurseries and keeps microplastics out of our soil.
As the world talks about how to #BeatPlasticPollution this World Environment Day, innovations like this remind us:
Saving soil can start with small, mindful choices.

You might not see it — but you’re probably consuming it.
With microplastics leaching into the soil, it wouldn't be surprising if the fruits and vegetables we eat contain plastic.
This World Environment Day, be a part of the solution for soil and human health and swap some of your plastics with eco-friendly materials.

Plastic doesn’t just pollute our oceans—it breaks down into microplastics that seep into soil, crops, and finally, into our bodies.
But simple swaps in your home can stop that cycle. Steel over single-use. Beeswax over cling wrap. Coconut over synthetic.
What swaps have you made?

This Mother’s Day, celebrate the power of nurturing—both in our mothers and in the soil beneath our feet. 🌱💚 Just as mothers give us life and love, healthy soil sustains the future of all living beings. Let's protect what nurtures us. #SaveSoil#MothersDay#MotherEarth
While we search the cosmos for habitable planets, our own is losing its ability to sustain life.
We have just one living planet, and its health depends on a thin layer of soil. This precious soil, which took thousands of years to form, is rapidly degrading. A single handful of healthy soil contains more living organisms than the number of humans who have ever lived.
Yet by 2045, we risk losing this miraculous living system that produces 95% of our food. We don't need to look to the stars for survival - we need to look down at the ground beneath our feet and take action to preserve it.

Patanjali - a master scientist of the inner realms and one of the greatest intellects ever on the planet. Patanjali's Yoga Sutras are not a book to be read or a philosophy to be debated. They are a blueprint of the Yogic sciences and in turn the nature of existence itself. If you have the devotion and intensity to make even one of them a living experience for yourself, they have the power to take one to ultimate liberation. -Sg

Soil deserves the same urgency as your battery percentage!
Soil isn't just the ground beneath our feet - it's a living foundation that sustains 87% of Earth's life forms. Each handful of healthy soil contains more microorganisms than there are people on our planet.
However, soil is losing its organic matter at an alarming rate, and to be used for agricultural purposes, it must have a minimum of 3-6% soil organic matter (based on regional factors). Without adequate organic matter, our soil cannot produce nutritious food.
The solution lies in conscious policies to revitalize our soil. One unified voice can create lasting change.
