A Nobel Prize-winning chemist fed cows no protein at all for years, and they gave milk, and the milk was full of protein.
Artturi Virtanen won his Nobel for chemistry in 1945.
In the 1960s he took dairy cows off every protein in their diet and fed them urea and ammonium salts, which are nitrogen and nothing else, with cellulose and starch for energy.
The cows made milk. Full milk, with every essential amino acid in it, for years, through several lactations.
The microbes in the rumen took the nitrogen and built the protein from scratch, and the cow digested the microbes.
They built every B vitamin as well, including B12, which no plant and no animal can make and which comes, in the end, from a microbe or nowhere.
A cow is the only farm animal that manufactures protein. A pig and a chicken can only move protein from one place to another, and the place is usually a soy field.
Feed a pig a kilo of soy protein and you get less than a kilo of pork. Feed a cow grass with no protein worth the name and you get a kilo of beef and milk anyway.
Grazing cattle produce more protein a human can eat than they consume.
A cow is a protein factory with a grass intake and a chemist-proof design, and she can run it on nitrogen and sunlight.
Every plant-based plan to replace her begins with growing the protein first.
Most people donât realize cancer feeds on what you eat.

TLDR: Cholesterol was never the story, and NIH just put it in writing.
Their new paper in Cell says controlling blood fats has minimally "reduced but not eliminated" heart disease. Mice missing one immune gene, GIMAP6, developed severe artery plaque, heart attacks and early death with normal blood lipids. In humans, damaging versions of the gene were tied to premature heart disease.
The authors also point out that about half of serious heart disease events happen in people without high cholesterol.
Plaque is a glycocalyx, vessel wall and inflammation problem; strongly linked to hyperinsulinemia and hyperglycemia. Your LDL/Apo B number alone doesn't tell you what's going on inside your arteries.

Amazon has 250 million Prime members worldwide. 168 million of them are in the United States. They pay $139/year or $14.99/month for a membership most of them use for one thing: free 2-day shipping.
That's it. Order something. Get it in 2 days. That's the entire Amazon Prime experience for 90% of members.
A consumer savings analyst who's tracked Amazon's pricing infrastructure for 6 years said: "Amazon has a hidden clearance outlet most shoppers have never seen. A warehouse full of open-box products at 30-50% off. A $5/month prescription service covering 50+ medications. A page with hundreds of digital coupons nobody clips. A URL trick that filters any search to show only items 50-70% off. And a program that pays you $10/month just for uploading grocery receipts. Most Prime members use Amazon the way most people use a smartphone 10% of its capability, 100% of its price."
She showed her friend 11 Amazon features. He'd been a Prime member for 7 years. He'd used 1 feature: free shipping.
Here are the 11 things most Amazon shoppers have never found đ§”
Joe Rogan and Andrew Huberman look up how many Americans die from medical error each year, and the answer floors them both.
ROGAN: âOkay, so medical error is responsible for 251,000 deaths a year.â
HUBERMAN: âWhoa, thatâs crazy.â
ROGAN: âDo you understand how insane that is? Imagine if that was Pop-Tarts.â
That number comes from a 2016 Johns Hopkins study published in the BMJ. It estimated medical errors kill 251,454 Americans a year, which makes them the third leading cause of death, behind only heart disease and cancer.
And it gets worse. A 2023 Johns Hopkins and Harvard study found that misdiagnosis alone kills an estimated 371,000 Americans a year and leaves another 424,000 permanently disabled.
If an airline killed that many people, nobody would ever board a plane again.
Think squats fix mobility as you age? Think again. đ
New research shows aging rewires your ankles â and most leg workouts miss it.
âą Stiffening Trap: Nervous system fires opposing ankle muscles at once (co-contraction) â gas + brake.
âą Wasted Effort: More muscle activity, but weaker push-off power.
The Real Fix â Train smarter:
1. Single-leg balance holds (30+ seconds, eyes open then closed) â builds proprioception and timing.
2. Calf raises (slow eccentric lowering) â strengthens tendons and improves push-off.
3. Ankle mobility drills like âankle ABCsâ (drawing the alphabet with your foot) or stair dorsiflexion stretches.
4. Tai Chi or balance-focused moves â excellent for coordination and reducing co-contraction. Ankles trade efficiency for stability earlier than you think. (Lindsay et al., Gait & Posture 2026)
Whic of these ankle fixes are you ading to your routine this week?đ

BREAKING STUDY: Nattokinase Breaks Down SPIKE PROTEIN, AMYLOID MICROCLOTS, BLOOD CLOTS, and SHRINKS ARTERIAL PLAQUE
We assembled DECADES of evidence to uncover the powerful MULTI-TARGET EFFECTS of nattokinase:
- Degrades spike protein
- Breaks down harmful amyloid proteins
- Dissolves abnormal amyloid microclots
- Breaks down fibrin blood clots
- Boosts the bodyâs natural clot-dissolving system
- Shrinks arterial plaque
- Lowers blood pressure
- Reduces blood-clotting factors and platelet clumping
Our new paper, âProteolytic Targets and Clinical Benefits of Oral Nattokinase: Spike Protein and Amyloid Degradation, Fibrinolysis, and Cardiovascular Risk Reduction,â was produced through a collaboration between The Wellness Company and the McCullough Foundation.
It represents one of the most comprehensive evaluations of nattokinase to date, uniquely integrating its proteolytic, cardiovascular, pharmacokinetic, amyloid, and spike-protein literature into a single paper.
After oral dosing, nattokinase-related activity shows up in human blood and changes clotting and clot-breakdown markers within hours.
Three independent labs have now shown that nattokinase-related enzymes can BREAK DOWN SPIKE PROTEIN in vitroâincluding purified nattokinase itself.
At higher doses, human imaging studies reported about a 36% SHRINKAGE in carotid artery plaqueâsuggesting the effective range may begin around 6,000 FU/day.
Randomized human trials also show modest BLOOD-PRESSURE reductions with nattokinase, with pooled decreases of about 3.5 mmHg systolic and 2.3 mmHg diastolic.
And in long-term population studies, higher natto intake was associated with a 25% LOWER RISK of cardiovascular death and a 32% LOWER RISK of stroke death.
Nattokinase has been well tolerated across human studies, with no notable adverse events reported across six randomized trials. Even 10,800 FU/day for 12 months was used in a large observational cohort without reported excess bleeding.
This inexpensive, orally available enzyme holds immense promise for cardiovascular risk reduction in the post-COVID era.
It now deserves large-scale clinical testing for cardiovascular risk reduction and other post-vaccination injury applications.
We plan to launch some of these studies shortly.

A 12 year old boy walks into my office having already seen a psychiatrist, an allergist, a lung doctor, maybe a GI doctor. Seven different drugs by age 12. Kicked out of kindergarten for being disruptive. Diagnosed with ADHD and put on stimulant medication for years.
Nobody connected the dots. He also had asthma, headaches, stomachaches, insomnia. Each doctor treated their one piece and ignored the rest.
I did a full workup instead of writing another prescription. His gut microbiome was a mess. Leaky gut. Elevated gluten antibodies. Reacting to dairy. Fungal overgrowth. Low zinc, low magnesium, low B6, low folate, low omega 3s. Lead toxicity.
He ate only processed food. Never a vegetable in his life.
So we removed the gluten, dairy, sugar and processed food. Rebuilt his microbiome with probiotics. Treated the fungal overgrowth. Chelated the lead. Corrected the nutrient deficiencies with magnesium, zinc, fish oil.
Two months later his mother brought him back. No more symptoms. No more meds. No more behavioral issues.
And his handwriting went from illegible to perfect penmanship. Same kid, same brain, two months apart.
That handwriting change is what made me write The UltraMind Solution. A brain that chaotic and disorganized became coherent and synchronized once we fixed what was happening in his body. The writing on the page was just a reflection of what was happening in his gut.
ADHD is not a brain problem. It's a systemic problem that shows up in the brain. If your kid's brain isn't working right, don't just look north of the neck. Look at what's happening south of the border first.

Rest is not the treatment for most tendon pain.
1/ Painful tendons do not want rest.
I see more tendon pain in clinic than almost any other complaint.
Most of it is self-inflicted: too much, too soon⊠or years of too little, then a sudden ask.
And most people still treat it like an 'itis' or a hot, swollen tendon...
What Happens to Your Body After Years of Taking Statins?
It's the most prescribed drug class in America, and almost none of the 93 million people taking one have been told this: A statin doesn't just block cholesterol production. It also blocks coenzyme Q10, the compound your mitochondria need to produce energy in your heart and muscles.
Merck actually filed a patent for a statin combined with coenzyme Q10, but they never added it back into the formula.
Over the years, what shows up is muscle pain, muscle weakness, fatigue, exercise intolerance, and even a higher risk of tendon rupture. Statins carry a black box warning, and yet the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology still don't recommend taking coenzyme Q10 alongside them.
Maybe it's worth knowing that both organizations receive money from the very companies that sell statins. And of the 13 members on the panel that changed the cholesterol guidelines making millions more people eligible for the drug, seven had direct financial relationships with statin manufacturers.
Nobody's asking the real question either, which is why your cholesterol went up in the first place. It's usually not the eggs. It's the juice, the bread, the pasta, the cereal, the crackers, and the candy. Refined carbs and sugar drive cholesterol production.
We have an entire profession recommending something for your heart that has a side effect of breaking down your heart while ignoring the thing actually causing the problem.
Does that make any sense to you?

Your core doesnât need more crunches.
It needs more control.
Adding instability can make an exercise more demandingâbut it doesnât automatically mean your âdeep coreâ is working harder or that the workout is better.
The bigger takeaway: slow reps, controlled breathing, and resisting unwanted movement are what make core training effective.
Workout:
âą Mermaid Kicks â 3 x 10
âą Draw a Circle â 3 x 8
âą Scissors â 4 x 8

âą Wide-Legged Toe Taps â 3 x 12
âą Bicycle â 3 x 20
