In some personal news, after 11yrs as a TV Journalist I am stepping away from the camera.

For now I’ll be focussing on my little family & am excited to start my new role as a Communications and Engagement officer at the Department of Education.

A woman told me she’d waited 8hrs for a dr to see her dad, who was too sick to walk, while a woman who was pregnant was sitting with a drip in the waiting room and others simply needed their cannula taken out. Nurses & Drs are working hard but @BradHazzard our system is broken!

Spent 4hrs in this ED with my toddler on Mon night only to leave untreated & frustrated.Problem is GPs won’t accept anyone with a COVID symptom unless they get a Neg. PCR test, which takes 24hrs.The only option for immediate care is the ED, leaving it overrun @RyanPark_Keira
