I loved my time at @NeuroCarleton. The department, professors and fellow students were some of the best parts of my undergraduate career. It will always be one of the best decisions I’ve made.

A little Sunday Self Care: made a batch of Maple Bacon Macarons using the Italian method for the first time instead of the French method. They came out a bit lopsided and hollow but still yummy. These will definitely be fuelling me during work this week.
I am really proud to work at UHN. This photo essay is a great look at everything going on behind the scenes. If you’re ever curious what keeps a hospital running the answer is AMAZING PEOPLE.
Welcome to “UHN 24/7: A Photo Essay,” which looks at the work happening around the clock and behind the scenes in the hospitals, laboratories and classrooms of Canada’s leading academic health sciences centre. #24HoursAtUHN

Day 7/7 #mylifeinpictures Bad photo quality but high drink quality. We were lucky enough to be loaned a nespresso machine and have been taking advantage. Today Dan made me a latte that was 👌👌👌.
But there’s so much that I’m grateful for. I have loving and supportive family and friends who are all healthy. A fiancé that makes me smile. And the cutest cat around. So here’s to tomorrow being a better day. I’ll post two pictures to make up for today. 3/3
This pandemic has impacted more in my life than just working from home. We’ve had to drastically change my upcoming wedding plans & while the ceremony and eventual reception will still be wonderful, it is a tough pill to swallow. Today my anxiety got the better of me. 2/3
Day 6/7 I’m breaking the rules for #mylifeinpictures by not sharing a picture. While I am doing my best to make the best of this situation, some days are better than others. Today was a struggle for me, and I think it’s important to be honest. 1/3
Day 5/7 #mylifeinpictures I love spending some quiet moments on weekend mornings with a coffee and a snuggle buddy. I’m an early riser and there’s no better way to start my day.
Day 4/7 #mylifeinpictures Games are huge in my family. Board games. Card games. Every game. In fact my fiancé proposed during a game night with my parents.
Day 3/7 of #mylifeinpictures baking is my favourite way to relax & practice some #selfcare. Currently trying to master the macaron! Last weekend I made mini lemon macarons that actually looked like lemons (I underfolded the batter) 🤷🏼♀️#happyaccidents
Day 2/7 #mylifeinpictures I love to try out new recipes. This was last night’s dinner - Blackened Fish Tacos with Red Cabbage & Mango Slaw from my newest cookbook. Very yummy despite a few bumps along the way.
I nominate @beth_oshaugh - let’s seen some travel pics!
Day 1/7 of #mylifeinpictures goes out to this little guy who makes the days cooped up at home so much better. Adopting Walker was the best thing we ever did. I challenge @tierasts to post a 📸 a day.
Feeling invigorated after the first huddle of the newly created Virtual Care Rollout Team. It’s been amazing to see the quick response from different teams across @UHN to come together during this time. Very proud to support this work.
