31 July 2026 was a huge success in the hearts and minds of the majority of the people. Its purpose was to send the following message to the regime PEACEFULLY:NO TO THE 2030/CAB3/CAA3 agenda.
The reaction of the regime told it all: they got the message, they do not like the message, they are prepared to assault, torture, imprison and kill in a bid to suppress the message and they will abuse/misuse State resources to fund oppression.
We are not deterred. We remain determined. Now 31 July was an initiative of others which we supported. We are now organising our own peaceful actions to continue with the same message: NO TO THE 2030/CAB3/CAA3 agenda.
I have to remind all that we have two strategies: legal battles in the courts and peaceful political action. The courts will hear us soon. Peaceful political actions are continuing. CAA3 will be reversed. We will win.

WATCH | The organisers of the planned July 31 protest have released more details about the demonstration.

They said the march is expected to begin at 10 a.m. after participants gather at Africa Unity Square from 9 a.m. The organisers say the event will be peaceful and will remain within Africa Unity Square, with no procession through the streets. They also said a petition will be handed over by a small group of representatives, and participants have been urged to remain peaceful, obey the law, and avoid carrying weapons or damaging property.

In their notice letter, the organisers requested the cooperation of the ZRP to help ensure that the demonstration is conducted safely, peacefully, and in an orderly manner.

The position of our opposition politics cannot continue in a state of flux. The current situation not only benefits ZANU PF but has also made us, the vocal ones, the biggest casualties. ZANU PF continues to tighten its grip through state machinery, and many of us have suffered various forms of injury. Tirikuzhamba baba. BREAKING: Bedfordshire Police have released a CCTV image of suspect Ndodana Mkhanyisi who is wanted for triple murder in Great Denham.

Police say he goes by the name of Mark and is believed to have left from Heathrow Airport on Saturday and is now in Zimbabwe.
