Muizzu’s close associate Home Ministry’s State Minister Sidheeq @AhmedSiddeeq has just endorsed Ibu faction (@MickailNaseem) via a tweet.
Muizzu has also asked a few other active people on social media to endorse Ibu faction.
Not a single person/newspaper used the words “police negligence” when reporting her suicide.
Until I tweeted about it yesterday, a post that has now been viewed by 265K people
That’s when public finally realised that corrupt police were involved.
Then, more than 48 hours after her death, Appathurey (the head of police head) held a press conference and leaked her private conversation with the police.
If Hassan Kurusee hadn’t tweeted about it, she would have remained just another statistic. No one would have known about the police negligence. The media would have stayed silent and the story would never have come to light.
🚨Home Minister Appathurey has told his Feydhu friend that @Midhuamsaud is trying to get attention by talking about privacy and that the law of privacy doesn’t apply to deceased individuals.
He said the right to privacy is a personal right tied to a living individual and that it does not automatically survive death cause the deceased cannot suffer harm, exercise rights or have expectation of privacy in the same way. He said in the US also there is no federal law granting a general post mortem privacy right.
Home Minister Appathurey said the right to privacy doesn’t apply to deceased individuals and that he revealed the details after she had died. @Arrryj
That’s his justification. But there are many laws contradicting him.
Dunya Maumoon's husband Shuaib Shah's SHC Lawyers and their senior lawyer Dhaanish Ameen, the son of Minister Ameen, are laundering money I'm told.
Right before Ameen was moved from Transport to Tourism, things inside SHC Lawyers changed fast. Suddenly there were payments to senior gov officials and files linked to people with serious pull. The cash started moving heavy, in bags, counted and shifted internally in the office. This is not normal in law firms in Maldives. And they've never done it before, the staff tell me. Senior ministers in the gov also turned up carrying bags, walked straight through I'm told. There was no normal reception, no logging, not at all, according to staff.
In the past few weeks, they also held a few meetings with bankers, investors and politically connected faces and following that more bags and packages arrived the same way.
They also have a well structured offshore setup with layered companies in UK, UAE, Panama and Singapore, using nominee directors, empty holding companies and the fake “consultancy” invoices to move kickbacks and commissions clean, I've been told.
The likely method for the recent aircraft deal, which Ameen was directly involved in, is also through this same offshore setup, I'm told.
In Sep 2025, Island Aviation Services Ltd (Maldivian) sold one of its De Havilland Canada DHC-8-Q300 (Dash-8) aircraft, MSN 591, previously registered as 8Q-IAR, to an Australian company called Airflite Unit Trust (Airflite Pty Ltd acted as trustee) for USD 3,730,000. The actual amount received was around USD 3.05 million after escrow fees and holding back USD 500,000 until full ownership transfer. This was done without any public tender. The aircraft is now registered as VH-AO9 with Airflite Flying College, you can verify this yourself.
The personal commission from this deal could easily be routed as a “consultancy fee” from an intermediary or the Australian buyer straight into one of the Panama or Singapore shell companies. From there it gets layered through UAE and UK entities with nominee directors to make it look legitimate, before a portion is wired back into SHC. Dhaanish handles the final leg, the bags come in, get counted and repackaged in the office and handed straight to the family or the minister’s people with zero paper trail. That’s how millions from this no tender aircraft sale can quietly land in Maldives without raising any flags. This isn’t normal legal work. It’s a laundering operation running right out of SHC Lawyers.
Dhaanish Ameen, as the minister’s own son and senior lawyer there, is the perfect front for cleaning it. Shuaib Shah has his big stake in Atmosphere Core and the related businesses, the firm sits on both sides of big financing deals without proper disclosures to the financial institutions and they run smaller sub firms to bypass conflicts and tax rules, meaning he acts as the lawyer for both the resorts and the banks and banks don't know it.
I'll receive some specific details about their money laundering in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
Cheers.
Appathurey is a complete piece of shit. He literally leaked that poor victim’s private conversation with police victim support. There is no lower act than exploiting a suicide victim’s final moments of despair for cheap political points. If MDP prints posters of Appathurey and publicly condemns this disgusting act on the streets tonight, they have my full support.
The man in the photo is Ihusaan and so is the dick in it. He sent that photo to WAMCO Sofa.
I challenge Ihusaan to prove on live national TV that it is not his dick. He can end all these rumours once and for all by showing his dick to the journalists right there on air. I guarantee that the dick in the photo and his own will match 100%. That’s exactly why he will never do it.
Focus of tonight’s protest, if there is one, should be on Appathurey. This man and his team have no respect for Maldivians.
1. Police talked about Wifaaq’s virginity live on TV.
2. Stole DNR data, forged people’s signatures inside office, later made a portal.
3. Today Ihusaan leaked a private conversation the victim had with police victim support unit.
