At the Seychelles National Botanical Garden, took part in the Joint Tree Plantation Ceremony with President Dr. Patrick Herminie.

We planted the iconic Coco de Mer, which is unique to Seychelles. Respected widely in Seychelles, it is featured on its coat of arms too. People here celebrate the Coco de Mer for producing among the largest seeds and the heaviest fruits.

India and Seychelles share a common resolve to safeguard biodiversity, promote environmental stewardship and leave behind a greener, healthier planet for future generations.

Visited the Giant Tortoise Enclosure at the Seychelles National Botanical Garden with President Dr. Patrick Herminie.

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise, which is native to Seychelles, is among the largest and longest-living species on Earth, with some of them witnessing over two centuries of history.

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise also have an association with the special friendship between India and Seychelles. In 2014, two of them were gifted to the Alipore Zoo in Kolkata. A few years later, Seychelles gifted a few more tortoises to Hyderabad Zoo.

आज का दिन गुजरात के टैक्सी चालक बहनों-भाइयों के लिए बहुत अहम है। गांधीनगर से सहकारिता मॉडल पर आधारित टैक्सी सेवा 'भारत टैक्सी' का गुजरात में शुभारंभ किया।

चालकों को सम्मान के साथ मालिक बनाने वाली 'भारत टैक्सी' उन्हें अधिक मुनाफा तो दे ही रही है, साथ ही इससे यात्रियों को भी सुगम व सुरक्षित टैक्सी की सेवा मिल रही है।

अब तक इससे 7 लाख से अधिक सारथी और 37 लाख से अधिक उपयोगकर्ता जुड़ चुके हैं और इसका देश के छोटे शहरों, कस्बों और गाँवों तक विस्तार किया जा रहा है।

साथ ही, गांधीनगर में ‘भारत टैक्सी’ से यात्रा की।

जनजातीय समुदाय के बच्चों को बेहतर शिक्षा और आवासीय सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में बिहार कैबिनेट ने महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लिया है। PM-JANMAN एवं DAJGUA योजनाओं के तहत 14 जिलों में 34 नए छात्रावासों के निर्माण एवं संचालन को स्वीकृति दी गई है।

इन योजनाओं के लिए ₹101.67 करोड़ से अधिक की राशि स्वीकृत की गई है, जिससे दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों के जनजातीय विद्यार्थियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा, सुरक्षित आवास और बेहतर शैक्षणिक वातावरण उपलब्ध हो सकेगा।
