What will it take to unite the world in harmony? If a world war, or a global pandemic can't be enough to motivate humans to work together toward a utopia, I don't want to imagine the real horror if the clock strikes midnight.
I enjoy the Olympics.
I am not a fan of being restricted from watching it by terrible television programming or having to have have a particular subscription.
For an event that gives us a chance to enjoy the competition why are we still locked out by capitalism.
Good example of the Uncertainty Principle by watching lightning bugs. You can know where they are (position), but not where they are going (vector).

What is the point of hiring people to do a job because they are experts and bring solutions, but none of the decision makers listen to their experts? They hold the funds over your head to get their way, but aren't willing to pay for the best solutions when it comes down to it.
When questions of fixing society are asked, the usual answer is "how will we pay for it?". Simple answer is, we don't. We just do it and deal with it later. Are we worse off if the world has healthcare, shelter, food, decency? Besides who is going to collect?
Pinterest has an insidious UX. When browsing, the "pins" have static images. But the ads are mostly video clips. Users notice them first and they hesitate and "view" the ad. Being distracted, you could miss pins, or have to retread and waste time. #designprobs#uxdesign
