There are too many cases of sexual crime in Gibraltar, particularly involving children. Someone needs to look into why.
I also don’t understand why the sex offender register is kept private. If we knew who the offenders are, perhaps we could prevent more incidents.
@KaelanJoyce@GBCNewsroom I don’t think the result of an opinion poll on Twitter can be taken as being the view of the people of Gibraltar. Unless a large portion of the population voted? GBC has room for improvement but I think they are constantly improving and producing some really good content lately.
Meanwhile... our neighbours in a full blown residential area, food trucks, live music, families all enjoying a Friday night out. What is wrong with this place??
Budget 2023: Public Sector workers with a salary between £50k and £75k will receive a lump sum assistance payment of £900. Between £75k and £100k will receive £600.
When we have the police shutting down live music events because of one complaint, no matter what time of day it is.. it’s no wonder people go elsewhere for entertainment. Stay local? Make it appealing to do so!

When thousands of Gibraltarians enjoy the night life in Spain, we have locals calling the Environment and Police at 9pm complaining about live music in Gibraltar.
Until the law is changed, Musicians will continued to be treated like a pest.
I wish we had something like the Macmillan helpline here in Gibraltar. Having an out of hours phone line for advice would help so many people and would reduce numbers attending at A&E.
