Lahir era boomers ni untung gila.
Beli rumah RM20k, 30 tahun lepas tu jual RM 1.5 juta.
Takde degree pun dapat kerja corporate.
sempat pula tu pencen sebelum AI dah mula ambil alih kerja.
Pastu pesan kt kita jangan beli kopi mahal kalau nak beli rumah 😭
A mistake that cost me 5 years: Thinking preparation was progress. Reading every book. Taking every course. Planning every detail. Meanwhile, someone dumber than me started badly and figured it out. Preparation feels productive but it's often just fear dressed up as strategy. You learn to swim by getting in
the water, not by studying water.
You’re supposed to use every unfair advantage you have. Connections, looks; money, all of it.
You're not noble by picking the hardest path just to look like an underdog.
The average Malaysian income is RM3.6k, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 RM10k.
The average age Msians buy their first home? 30+, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 24.
The average EPF savings? RM109,578, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 RM1 mill.
Socmed makes you feel behind, but often you're comparing against the 1%'s highlights - 𝗻𝗼𝘁 reality!
The quicker you act on realizing you have to attack life, not let it happen to you, the quicker you enjoy this journey versus wasting it on stress, anxiety, and worry
Kerana akibat riba, berlakunya inflasi. Akibat inflasi, lelaki terpaksa melakukan 2-3 kerja.
The biggest skill you can develop is the ability to reset fast.
Bad conversation? Move on.
Bad day? Start fresh tomorrow.
Missed workout? Hit it the next day.
Poor decision? Learn and adjust.
You can't control what happens to you, but you control how long you let it affect you.
It is expensive to be poor. Very expensive
Because when you are poor, everything costs more:
• You can’t buy in bulk, so you pay higher unit prices
• You can’t afford quality, so cheap things break faster and need replacing
• You can’t access good credit, so you pay higher interest
• You can’t invest early, so you lose years of compounding
• You can’t take risks, so you stay stuck in low-paying paths and fear
• You can’t afford nutrition, so your health deteriorates
• You can’t afford events or conferences, so you don’t get exposed to high-value network or opportunities
• One emergency can wipe out everything
Poverty isn’t just a lack of money. It is a tax on the poor that keeps them poor
Enough of living in your head and in your fears and second guesses and insecurities .. it’s time to throw darts 🎯 … to many yappers and not enough practitioners .. be a practitioner ❤️
Fresh grad bujang gaji RM3,000.
Take-home cuma RM2,634.35.
Tak bayar sewa.
Tak ada ansuran kereta.
Tak ada PTPTN.
Tapi bila campur petrol, tol, parking, maintenance, phone, internet, elektrik, makan, dapur, simpanan kecil & hiburan asas, baki atas kertas tinggal sekitar RM344 saja.
Itu pun belum masuk minyak/tol hujung minggu, parking bila keluar, servis besar kereta, roadtax, insurans, kecemasan kecil.
Jadi masalah dia bukan boros.
My salary as a fresh grad in 2019 was RM3.7k and that was 7 years ago. Kesian freshie sekarang gaji masih stagnant while living costs increase.
Malaysia ni syurga kapitalis, high labour productivity but low wage. Income disparity pun teruk.
Not everything online is meant to be your benchmark.
It’s easy to feel behind when everyone is posting their wins. But you’re only seeing highlights, not their full story.
Comparison steals the joy from moments that once felt enough.
So live gently.
Grow at your own pace.
KitKat is owned by Nestlé.
Nestlé is one of the most unethical companies in the world.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Nestlé wanted to grow its infant formula sales in developing countries, especially in Africa. So they came up with a strategy.
They gave free baby formula to new mothers and promoted it as better than mother’s milk.
At first, it seemed helpful. But it was not.
The free supply lasted just long enough for many mothers to stop producing their own milk. Once it ended, they had no natural option left and had to depend on formula.
But many of these mothers were poor. They could not afford to keep buying it. So they tried to stretch it by adding more water and less powder.
This led to weak and undernourished babies.
It got worse because many of them did not even have clean water or proper conditions to prepare the formula safely. Babies fell sick. Some even died.
And Nestlé did not even provide proper instructions. No clear guidance in local languages. No support for mothers who could not read.
They knew the risks. They still continued.
They only reacted when Western countries protested and boycotted them.
Even today, they are not fully ethical. And people still eat KitKat.
The comparison sounds clever on an Accenture slide. It falls apart the second you check the history.
Edison spent years studying gas lamps, arc lamps, and every existing illumination technology before building the lightbulb. His key breakthrough, a carbonized bamboo filament that lasted 1,200 hours, came from testing 3,000 materials across 14 months of continuous iteration. He didn't skip the candle. He studied every candle ever made and then built something better.
The iPhone was a continuous improvement of the Palm Pilot, which was a continuous improvement of the Newton, which was a continuous improvement of the Psion Organizer. Google was a continuous improvement of AltaVista. Tesla was a continuous improvement of the GM EV1.
The consulting version of innovation sounds like "think different and skip the boring work." The actual version is "study every existing solution until you understand the constraints so deeply that the next step becomes obvious."
Accenture charges $500/hour to show this slide to Fortune 500 executives. The companies that actually build the next electric light are in the lab running experiment 2,999.
