As a 1st term MP, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Kyankwanzi enriching experience. The retreat has equipped us with invaluable knowledge, sharpened our understanding of national priorities, and strengthened our commitment to servant leadership.

I extend my sincere appreciation to H.E @KagutaMuseveni and the leadership of the @NRMOnline for organizing such a timely and impactful engagement. The emphasis on discipline, wealth creation, fighting corruption, and aligning with the national development agenda has left a lasting impression on all of us.

The lessons learned here will undoubtedly guide us as we begin our legislative journey, ensuring that we effectively represent our people and contribute meaningfully to Uganda’s transformation.

Kyankwanzi has once again proven to be a true center of ideological grounding and leadership development.

Iran rejects a temporary ceasefire and demands the following:

– A permanent end to the war on all theatres in the Middle East, including Lebanon and Gaza, with guarantees.

– Implementation of a new transit protocol that recognizes Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz and allows Iran to collect tolls.

– The lifting of economic sanctions on Iran.

– Acknowledging Iran’s right to peacefully enrich uranium as per its inherent right under the NPT and UN charter.

– The paying of reparations for economic damages suffered during the war.
