YG Entertainment shared that JUNKYU has been experiencing health concerns and, based on the artist’s condition as well as the judgment of those around him, it was determined that he needs time to focus on rest and recovery.

JUNKYU personally addressed TREASURE MAKERS, writing:

“But as I kept moving forward and doing my best, I think there came a point where I gradually overlooked the signals my mind and body were giving me. I always wanted to show you only my best as a professional, so I've been trying to convince myself that I was okay. However, I've come to realize that now is the time for me to pause and take care of myself. After having many discussions with the company, I've decided to temporarily suspend my activities and take some time to rest.”
