Absolutely insane scenes at the Philippine House of Representatives as VP Sara Duterte requests Marikina's 2nd district Rep Stella Quimbo (Liberal Party), Vice-Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, to cease chairing the hearing for the Office of the Vice President's budget. She asked for Chairman Elizaldy Co (AKO BICOL Party-list) to instead chair the hearing.

Duterte became increasingly angry and defensive at the House committee after repeated questions by House members, asking her to explain how her department spent controversial the confidential funds P120 million peso confidential fund from the previous budget.

Duterte then went on to accuse Rep. Quimbo and other committee members of politicizing the budget process and not following the rules of the House.
