First of all, I have a desire to try things I cant really do as part of TWICE. That doesnt mean I want to stick to just one genre. I like performance, I like melodic music, and I also like singing rap. I just want to try things where my own colors can really shine through. If you look at my image alone, it’s probably a little far from being just "cute" or "feminine"
Honestly, I’m not sure how to define it in one word. In fact, the version of me that fans see on stage might be the truest reflection of my color. Showing different sides of myself within my abilities, that feels like the most "Jihyo"

Compared to when I first debuted, the scale of our performances has become so much bigger, there are a lot more things to do abroad, and Kpop’s global presence has risen tremendously. I’m grateful that TWICE has been able to contribute to that. If I had to pick the moments I remember most, I'd always say it's when I'm performing. On stage, I can actually see fans expressions much more clearly than they might think. That overwhelming feeling I get in those moments is what makes me grow, and I'd say those moments are truly the most beautiful ones in my life. (laughs)
