talking about a very real issue like misogyny (which kills very real women too btw) and reducing it to team wars between fictional characters is so scary lmfao
bare with me if i’m reading too much into this but fabien posting these two pics is like he’s bidding his on-screen children (that he never had) farewell too. criston, the father who stepped up 🤍
I know it’s not going to happen but I’d love for Ulf to get one hit in before the show ends. I want to see this man throw a punch at Daemon. Poor Ulf has been treated like nothing his whole life, and they still don’t see him as family or even human. #HOTD
Cole’s legacy is insane
A common born who joined the Kingsguard, became their Lord Commander, was the greatest knight of his generation, was the only Lord Commander to become Hand of the King, and was known as a King Maker.
Hate him all you want, but that’s a ridiculous legacy.
@cristoncoles I've come across the occasional cringey cRiSPiN posts but muted them on the spot. Fabien must be thrilled to be finally free of all of this
they couldn’t make criston’s death humiliating even if they tried. despite being good fighters, the rivermen/northmen denied an exhausted knight’s 2v1 challenge by quieting him down w arrows. now criston will be immortalized through songs, exactly what they didn’t want to happen.
Ormund is unfortunately me in this medieval-ish setting, because I too have extreme sensory sensitivities and would pass out/get violently ill when I had to be around people who had not washed for weeks. #HOTD
The absolute tragedy of his last moments being him clinging to someone he loved and idealised, while she, being highborn, isn’t thinking about him at all now. There’s something deeply sincere about Criston as a character which was a masterstroke in this portrayal.
@Hornsounderr@aryasmercy Gods please no! Not me being relieved that there was no head-on-spike/corpse-desecration only for them to go around and do this....
