The #SAPS in Schoemansdal is appealing to members of the community to assist in locating a missing person, Mathambo Marry Nkuna (51).
According to the complainant, Ms Thobile Nkuna, who is the niece of the missing person and resides in Schoemansdal Zone 10, Ms Nkuna was reported missing after she disappeared on 04 June 2026.
It is reported that Mathambo Marry Nkuna attended a midweek church service on the day of her disappearance. The service concluded at approximately 19:00, after which she left with a friend who was also travelling home. However, Ms Nkuna never arrived at her residence and has not been seen since.
At the time of her disappearance, she was described as tall, slim-built, and light in complexion.

The Hawks have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding four children who mysteriously disappeared from their home in Ntabankulu in the Eastern Cape more than 18 months ago.
Sive Siganga (7), Oyintando Siganga (4), Thabsile Siganga (4) and Thabile Siganga (4) were last seen playing in the yard of their family home on 10 November 2024 before vanishing without a trace.
The Hawks say extensive investigations, including intelligence-driven operations and inter-provincial follow-ups, have so far yielded no breakthrough.
Authorities are appealing to communities, traditional leaders, organisations and the public to assist with any information that could help locate the children or shed light on their disappearance.

Police and community members are searching for 46-year-old Clive Moodley from Malvern, Durban, who has been missing since 2 June 2026.
Moodley, who is self-employed and reportedly has a history of substance abuse, was last seen with a BMW 323i that is also missing.
The vehicle is not registered in his name and further details were unavailable at the time of reporting.
He is described as dark in complexion, approximately 1.8 metres tall, and has a cross tattoo on his right hand.
