This year I was commissioned to photograph a few black farmers who also owned the land across the Mississippi Delta. This is Mrs. Ernestine Young of Clarksdale, Mississippi. I had the pleasure of photographing her on her farm and she gave me some of the best pepper jelly I ever.

I am 27 now, the age Jonghyun was when he passed. It felt weird to not address that somehow. This guy and his work proved to me that there were options when I felt stuck. I am so grateful to him and I didnt even know him - not really. I know that's a bit strange.
