BREAKING: The president of the United Auto Workers brutally trashes Donald Trump as a "lapdog for the billionaires" as the powerful union formally endorses Kamala Harris for president.

And it gets even better...

"This election's about working class people and you go back to our Big Three fight, you know 75% supported us in that fight and there's a reason why," explained Shawn Fain, president of the UAW during an appearance on MSNBC.

"Union or not we're all fighting the same thing. Workers have been left behind for decades in this country and it's due to policies that Trump's America pushes," he continued.

"You know it's Trump's tax breaks for the wealthy. 80% of the benefit went to the top 1%. And so this election is about you have one candidate in Trump who represents the billionaire class," said Fain.

"I call him the lapdog for the billionaires. And you have a candidate in Kamala Harris who stands for working class people and she's showing it through he actions," he continued. "And so that's what this is about. It's about working class people taking their lives back. Nothing can be more important than that."

The UAW represents over 400,000 active members and more than 580,000 retired members.

This is a huge victory for Harris. The UAW was one of the few remaining large labor unions that hadn't endorsed her yet. With their support, her momentum swells.
