New episode of Nadia’s Lab is out & it is a special one. I’m grateful to be joined by Fred Turner - CEO & founder of Curative. Oxford dropout Fred Turner explains how a cattle-genetics startup accidentally became Curative — one of America’s biggest COVID-testing companies ($2B peak revenue, 36 million tests). From Thiel Fellowship → Y Combinator → building a $0-copay health plan that actually gets people to preventative care. Raw stories, zero fluff, and the real cost of founding a company (“chewing glass and staring into the abyss”).

Tomorrow on Nadia’s Lab, I’ll be sharing something a little different — my journey as a pharmacist, advice for anyone considering this profession, and answering your questions along the way!
Leave your questions in the comments or message me directly — I’d love to include them! 🙌
Eggs or embryos freezing? Dr Jaime Knopman explains: freezing eggs keeps them yours; freezing embryos means joint consent to use them. If a partner withdraws consent, clinics can’t use them—and in the UK, after a 12-month cooling-off period they’re destroyed. Embryos often have more predictable success, eggs keep your options open! 👩🏻🔬🎙️ more on my podcast channel: Nadia’s lab - links in bio!
