🇸🇩 SECRET DOSSIER POINTS TO SUDAN USING CHEMICAL WEAPONS
A Middle Eastern intelligence dossier obtained by the New York Times reportedly provides new evidence that Sudan’s military developed and used chlorine-based chemical weapons against the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces.
The cache includes nearly 150 documents, videos, images and recordings, plus thousands of messages. It describes a secret 2024 program producing bombs containing roughly 15 kg of chlorine each, with intercepted communications indicating almost 300 chemical munitions had been manufactured by October.
The dossier also points to battlefield use. After one alleged chemical attack on RSF positions at the al-Jaili oil refinery, a Sudanese officer reportedly wrote that enemy fighters had “drank the gas.”
The U.S. determined in 2025 that Sudanese government forces had used chemical weapons and subsequently imposed sanctions.
The new material goes considerably further: it potentially documents how the weapons were built, tested, deployed and then allegedly covered up.
