I write this not in a hateful way, but in a reality way.

This is a legitimate question. How does a race of people with a 400 year head start fear any other race?

Why would they need to punch down and try to hold back a race of people who are in a 400 year deficit (hole)?

Yet, the more successful black people got, the more racists attempted to keep them from being successful and living the "
"American Dream."

Schools were segregated. Still, blacks achieved. But, black success was met with resistance. The more we achieved, the more racists felt we should know our place. They removed things that helped blacks, like Affirmative Action and recently DEI considerations and still we achieve.

When we pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps and became successful and independent, like Rosewood Florida, Tulsa Oklahoma and many other areas, angry, jealous, hateful racists destroyed these places.

Today, there are many who still embody the racist spirit of our racist yesteryears. Somehow there are people who don't want to see successful blacks or blacks who have achieved better than they have.

Many people feel that blacks are surpassing them. But, how do you surpass someone with a 400 year head start?

Instead of competing and being the best possible person you can be, after 400 years, they'd rather lash out at the perceived reason for their mediocrity.

This is how a man like Donald Trump can become the president. Trump is a very unremarkable man. Trump's racism and hate allows them to feel good about themselves. It allows them to broadcast their racism in public. He makes them feel comfortable to be who they really are.

I'm not afraid to talk about race. No one should be. Society and race are real. I speak it from my black perspective. Not to offend or judge all people as the same. But, to show my personal insight. Race should never be discussed in an unrespectful way.

A young black man from NYU’s prestigious Tisch College was assaulted by a white man after his wife said the boy grabbed her butt even though he said his bag brushed up against her accidentally & he never touched her. The woman says why didn’t you just say that & apologize & he said because your husband was throwing me against a wall hitting & punching me. Witnesses walking behind the boy confirmed that he never touched her too. He feels that they were being racist towards him & so did others that witnessed it. He filed a police report against them & they were just allegedly Identified.
