🐻: So, there was originally a guide track for the song '나는', but it felt a bit cold [impersonal/lacking emotion].
Honestly, I wasn't planning to tell this kind of story, I wanted to talk more about worldly things. But one night I couldn't sleep, so I tried writing lyrics to fit the guide, wondering what to do.
And, well, you know, we've got about a year left on our contract, so I tried to capture both that thought and the memories of the past seven years in the lyrics.
So at the end of the verse, there's a line like 'always be remembered'... 'Please always remember me', 'please let me always be remembered'...I think it was something along those lines.
When I listened to '나는', it brought a sense of loneliness and made me recall the memories we shared together.
I believe nothing lasts forever.
And as the song says, eventually we might be forgotten, and I think that's only natural.
Even so, this is a song I wrote with the hope that we, MCND, could still be remembered, even for just a brief moment.
It's a story about the members and also about the fans.
That's how memory works. Sometimes it remains vivid, but inevitably there are moments when it fades.
So with those thoughts and feelings, I realised that someday we too could be forgotten.
With that kind of fear, even though I believe being forgotten is somewhat natural, I wrote this song still holding onto hope and with the thought: 'please remember us once again. someday, surely, you’ll recall us'
