Don't surround yourself with people who just agree with you and validate you. You need people who will call you on your bullsh*t, challenge you, tell you when you've hurt them, and actually talk it through. That's how you apologize, learn, change, and grow. Don't settle for less.
Loving someone who's in survival mode is not always easy. When they pull away, you need patience. When they feel unsafe, you need clear boundaries. When they unlearn fear and relearn trust, you need grace. They're not broken. They're healing. And your real love helps them stay.
ya Allah, jika ada hati seseorang yang terluka atas perlakuanku, hingga menghambat doa-doa yang setiap hari ku langitkan, tolong sembuhkan rasa sakitnya, beri balasan kebaikan untuknya berkali-kali lipat, kemudian ampunilah aku.
People talk about how it's all sunshine and rainbows after leaving a toxic relationship. But nobody talks about how hard it is to unlearn the abuse you normalized, the mistreatment you tolerated, the toxic traits you developed, and the overthinking from being treated that way.
I promise you, the only people who hate your boundaries are those who want to continue to disrespect you or take from you. Whatever disrespect you tolerate will continue. Takers have no limits. Your boundaries are their limits.
Most relationships taught me the more chances you give people, the less they value you. They aren't afraid to lose you bcoz they know no matter what, you won't walk away. Don’t let anyone get too comfortable with disrespecting you. Love yourself & choose distance over disrespect.
