🚨 SPORTS MINISTRY IDENTIFIES 2,000 INDIANS IN NAGOYA TO HOUSE ATHLETES

After Indian athletes faced accommodation issues in Nagoya, the Sports Ministry activated a three-layer support plan:

Layer 1: Two representatives were stationed at the airport to assist arriving athletes.

Layer 2: Three officials were deployed at the Athlete Welcome Centre to coordinate accommodation and resolve issues.

Layer 3: Around 2,000 Indians living in Nagoya were identified as a contingency network to provide accommodation if required.

Around 30–35 athletes initially faced accommodation issues. India has booked 18 additional hotel rooms and is planning to secure 10 more.

🇮🇳 India’s flag-hoisting ceremony was also delayed on Friday amid the ongoing logistical issues at the Asian Games.
