Emergency Medicine is built on quick decision-making with incomplete information.
EM physicians manage undifferentiated patients, balance risk, revisit decisions as new data comes in, and have to make calls without clear consensus. Much of the most valuable learning happens after the shift, when there’s finally time to debrief with colleagues and compare how others would have approached the same case.
Today we’re launching the Emergency Medicine community on Roon with a group of founding physicians who have spent decades doing exactly that work: @darakass, @ddebehnk, @KimiChernoby, @DrChrisBaugh, @EMNerd_ , @ArleneSujin, @SonoSpot, @NagdevArun, @bernardchangMD, @JimMiner1, @FionaGallahueMD, @GillianMD1, @DrRobertGlatter, @aviccellio, @Eric_CioePena, Deb Houry, Terry Adirim, Gus Garmel, Jeffrey Druck, Lillian Emlet, Peter DeBlieux, Doug Franzen, Kylie Klemann
Roon is the place to examine real cases, compare practice patterns, and work through decisions that don’t have clear answers. The focus is not on guidelines alone, but on how they are interpreted and applied in real clinical settings.
If you’re in Emergency Medicine, we’d love to have you join our community: https://t.co/16lJnkTKF9

Should be standard of care in a lot of cases in ED. But the future for some of these has got to be catheter placement in ED. It will come soon. @NagdevArun
