I didn’t intend on ghosting them, I checked their account and it looked canceled, I forgot to respond to them and let them know

I can’t control an issue with polar so that part isn’t my fault but I do apologize

The message they sent when I was asleep was at 5am followed by another message at 6am my time and before I had woken up they’d escalated to twitter

I don’t mean to come across rude so I apologize for that and I am sorry that polar attempted to charge them

I haven’t had a chance to look again and see if they were actually charged but I dm’d them and told them I’d refund any charge that had gone through if they had, I don’t wanna take anybody’s money, I just thought it was a little unfair that it was assumed that I was acting with malice

service instability has gone down drastically and I've had comparatively zero complaints

I don't know if you read the article but I was spending over $1,000/day and making that much in a day would've been lucky

I understand perfectly (and did before I had fully decided a change needed to be made) that this would upset people and cause people to leave

I'm not rich, I'm actually rather broke

I made the change because I couldn't afford it and even if the correct answer was to kill the subs, the genuine constant anxiety trying to keep up and monitor it because I might run out of money one day was enough to kill them on it's own

I know people will leave and I know some are reasonably irritated but I just can't do subs anymore,
I'm genuinely sorry
