• The current situation in Syria and Kurdish joint stance in the face of the new reality in the country were discussed.

• Syrian Kurdish factions should work together to secure the rights of the Kurds.

• The Syrian Kurds should not accept external interference in their efforts.

• Syrian Kurds should be a factor for peace and stability.

Prime Minister @masrourbarzani today chaired a special meeting to tackle air pollution, stressing that protecting the public’s health and safeguarding Kurdistan’s environment are a priority for the government. The following decisions were made:

1.
From today, factories and refineries operating outside of regulations and causing environmental harm will face legal action.

2.
Illegal production and smuggling of harmful fuels is banned. Associated gas-flaring in oil fields must be strictly limited.

3.
Private generators must install filters for noise and emissions, as outlined in government guidelines. Violators will be held accountable.

4.
The use of polluted water for irrigation must stop.
