it’s so hard being an artist trying to make a living out of this little passion. I hate paypal sm, I wish i can have international apps where clients can send money. Paypal is shitty asf
Para después quejarse de que la IA les quita el trabajo.
No mi amigo.
@kuroyukibb@ZanizaniTsu my client paid me 200. which didnt get to my acc. asked paypal to give me that money from dolarapp or something else, they said no, so i sent another email asking if they could somehow restore the account,,,
"The changes were by pressure from their payment processor, Stripe, which had begun suspending approved campaigns over mature content."
Art is being held hostage by literally like 5 companies globally.
I don't know what the answer is, if it's regulating payment processors or what, but man. Your job is to move imaginary numbers around a database. Nothing else. You don't have morals. You don't have ethics. You are the money moving monkey, so move the money, monkey.
Kickstarter has officially reversed its controversial new mature content guidelines after huge backlash from creators
In a blog post published today titled “An Apology: Rethinking Our Mature Content Guidelines,” the platform acknowledged that the detailed rules released last week went too far.
The changes were by pressure from their payment processor, Stripe, which had begun suspending approved campaigns over mature content.
As a result, Kickstarter is removing the new guidelines entirely and returning to its previous simpler policy: projects may not include pornography or illegal content.
Payment processors can still review and potentially block campaigns based on their own standards.
@emiihunn_ me too !!!! for no reason apparently, they blocked my acc for a 200(!!) dollar commission. worst part is they did in the moment i need to fund a literal spinal surgery for my little brother. its insane how EVIL they are.
I don't take commissions, but we should find a solution to this. It’s dragging on too long, and we risk getting used to it. Payment processors shouldn’t have the power to decide whether someone can charge for a drawing, a song, a book, or any other form of art.
(By the way, it would be interesting to see the personal computers of these billionaire “beings of light👼”)
