I Was Playing the Game All Wrong.
For years, I followed the script.
Got the degree. Landed the job.
Ticked every box they said would lead to success.
But I wasn’t building anything. I wasn’t owning my story.
I was just existing, waiting for something to change.
Then I realized—I had to be the one to change.
I started writing. Thinking for myself. Sharing my journey publicly.
What I got wrong. What I learned. What actually matters.
And slowly, I built something real.
A voice. A brand. A mission.
I stopped playing it safe. I started shaping my own narrative.
Helping others do the same has been immensely rewarding!
Because success isn’t about following the rules. It’s about writing your own.

I love that! Meaning gives purpose to beauty. I never thought of like that.
Beauty makes you feel something you didn’t know existed in you, when you know the purpose behind its existence.
I think this is what makes humans unique. There’s an invisible string of connection through art and beauty. Often quite elusive and beyond words.
@iamdresean Happiness is vague and often elusive.
A sense of agency in life brings purpose and satisfaction. That’s often overlooked by people and they pursue things that society has deemed important.
That’s the biggest source of dissatisfaction imo
Being a creator is just circulating ideas through your unique lens.
Your audience resonates because they share similar interests, but timing is everything.
What doesn’t strike a chord today might hit deeply tomorrow. Keep creating—people will get in the zone when it’s their time.
Reflecting on 2024, it didn’t start off easy.
Losing my job in January felt like the ground had been pulled out from under me.
But sometimes, when you’re forced to pause, you finally get the clarity you’ve been chasing.
I wanted to create something unique that reflected who I am and what I stand for.
In the process, I saw just how powerful personal branding can be.
It’s not just for creators—it’s for anyone who wants to be intentional about their path.
At the same time, I stepped into a new role—a job that aligned much more with my interests.
I’ve been working on ontology and Gen AI, diving into decisions that shape entire organizations. Seeing how businesses operate at that level has been game-changing.
It’s taught me what drives impact and where time is wasted chasing things that don’t.
These game-changing lessons have shaped my thinking about my business and the people I want to help.
And then there’s life outside work. This year, I moved countries and cities within countries, took on new challenges, and started planning my wedding. It’s been chaotic, but I've also learned the value of slowing down.
Rest, family, and space to reflect aren’t just nice-to-haves—they’re essential if you want to play the long game.
Looking back, it’s been a surreal, humbling year. I’ve learned so much about building systems, asking better questions, and focusing on what matters.
As I step into 2025, I’m carrying those lessons with me—into my work, business, and how I help others build their own thing.
Here’s to clarity, growth, and everything that comes next.
@DomJeswal It’s a science of categorizing real world entities into groups based on domain and their use cases.
It’s also apparently the philosophy of being. But I just deal with the former, unfortunately. The latter is way more interesting
