Actualmente está surgiendo la campaña para evitar que las futuras series de Dragon Ball tengan esa censura tan evidente que ha tenido la serie en sus producciones modernas; sin embargo, creo que esto va mucho más allá de meramente una cuestión artística, tiene que ver con el mercado internacional y las diferentes cadenas de televisión de cada país.

Países como España y Argentina han censurado Dragon Ball Super a pesar de que la serie de por sí ya cuenta con bastante censura, por lo cual hacer una serie "más cruda" puede ocasionar que haya problemas con la compra de licencias de las diferentes cadenas al considerar que el contenido mostrado no es apto para niños, y eso sí sería un verdadero problema. Por lo cual, en mi suposición, creo que Toei Animation prefiere censurar ella misma la serie a que lo hagan individualmente los distintos países o a que simplemente no puedan vender la serie al hacerla un poco más explícita.
