It is always such a great experience to be in the Western Region, and yesterday’s Regional Youth Conference was no exception.

In my speech, I encouraged participants, especially Constituency Organizers, to remain steadfast, committed, and focused, and to keep up the good work of organizing and mobilizing our young people at the grassroots for the NDC.

Our strength as a party lies in the grassroots, and the Youth remain central to building a stronger, more united, and more formidable party.

It was a privilege to serve as Guest of Honour at the 2nd School of Sciences Science Fair at University of Energy and Natural Resources earlier this week. I’m grateful to the faculty and students for the warm welcome, and for showing me once again where Ghana’s prosperity will come from.

It would not just be from our resources but our people. The young researchers I met, who are working on real solutions to food security, healthcare, renewable energy and climate resilience.

The next big discovery could come from right here, and that is worth investing in.
