@Sean_Zak Good of the tour pros to really stretch the boundaries of what is possible to engage the viewing public by
"checks notes"
answering 2 questions.
What a time to be alive, the viewing figures will be stratospheric
@LouStagner Mike Clayton does occasionally talk sense regarding gold course architecture.
But a lot of the time he's 'old man shouting at clouds' when he goes on podcasts.
As within 2 minutes he's always moaning that things in golf have changed, no respect anymore etc etc.
@KVanValkenburg I listened to a 10 part podcast, each about 45 minutes each, on Radiohead's In Rainbows.
So I'm not afraid to go deep.
But this may be stretching it a bit.
And not a guaranteed rating winner.
@NoLayingUp@highnoonsunsips Interested to hear what TC thinks about Tom Kim, Taylor Pendrith and Big Jay.
I listened to all the live shows this week and I'm not sure I heard him mention any of them.....
@JARMO1889@NoLayingUp If Sky take NBCs feed for the Ryder Cup then I'm out.
It is jarring how bad it is after you are used to Sky.
Who are not perfect.
But why would you deliberately downgrade your product so much.
No pride.....
@mikeclaytongolf @johnhuggan Not quite sure that seeing 4 young people enjoying the game is sick inducing.
But hey, whatever floats your boat.
Hey kids, try golf.
It's a great game.
As long as you conform to decades old ideals held by old people.
It's that sock not knee length!!!!
@NoLayingUp Yet another disgraceful performance by an organisation whose heart is not really in, doesn't care about the product and is doing the bare minimum possible to fulfill contractual obligations.
But enough about the US team today, let's talk NBC...
@t_long02@TronCarterNLU A serious golf event is when all the participants want to win it for the prestige.
There is plenty of room for non serious events.
But if you try to convince the viewing public that a non serious event is a serious event, it's a bit desperate.
@t_long02@TronCarterNLU It is still a deeply unserious made for TV event that very few people care about.
As I'm sure the viewing figures will prove.
If it meant anything to the US, they would be stepping on the international's throats.
