Make dua for yourself, family and Muslims including those who are oppressed during the times duas are accepted, which are:
1. Last 3rd of the night before dawn
2. When is raining
3. Between Athan and iqamah
4. In your sujood
5. When traveling
6. Tashahhud before you salam out the salah
7. Last of hour asr on every Friday
8. When drinking zamzam water, the prophet ﷺ said,
“Zamzam water is for that for which it is drunk.”
[Imam Ahmad and classed as sahih by al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami’, 5502]
9. When say the dua, La ilaha illa anta, subhanaka, inni kuntu min al-zalimin ([none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah)], Glorified (and Exalted) be You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers. The prophet ﷺ said,
“No Muslim recites this du’a concerning any matter but Allah will answer him.” Meaning say the dua above then ask Allah whatever you want.
[Al-Tirmidhi and classed as sahih in Sahih al-Jami’, 3383.]
Surah Duha is hope. It's our escape from anxiety and overthinking. It restores our faith. It reminds us that Allah will be with us when we are lost and hopeless. And that He will reward us until we are satisfied.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un, my grandpa was the most selfless, calmest and sweetest person. May Allah swt widen his grave and grant him Jannatul for Firdous. He’d always put others before himself and give back and that’s exactly what my family and I want to do for him.
Ina lilahi wa ina ilahi rajioon. Life doesn’t prepare you for the loss of your parent, especially one as selfless and loving as my father. May Allah have mercy on his soul and may this charity continue to bring him nothing but endless benefit.
