hardware has been completely fixed, os has been reinstalled and backups have successfully transferred with no data loss!!!
….. but my mousepad isnt working for an inexplicable reason so i can’t get it back just yet

ideally i’d like to learn growls but those and fry screams are two sides of the same coin and ive yet to find a technique that actually works 🫠🫠 if anyone has tips for those pls help ive only successfully growled one time (during a ゲテモノ recording)

since i’ve started taking singing seriously (beyond just a hobby/something i want to pursue semi-professionally) ive set a goal each year to keep myself motivated/have a point of reference for improvement
2022: belting
2023: false chord screams, pronunciation
2024: voice control

happy to say that, after only ~3 months of practice, i’ve gained a LOT of control with vibrato. before i could either not do it at all or do nothing but it. now i can flip back and forth rlly easily it’s SO fun
the other half of vc is switching between head, chest, + mix better

i recorded a bassline, drum track, and hook topline and vocalization sample which sounds cool until u realize it’s just me making the deepest voice possible to mimick the bass bc i don’t own a guitar 💀

seeing the positive reception of the orisong has ignited something in me, i can’t stop coming up with melodies….
….unfortunately i still don’t have my laptop back so i have no access to a DAW to actually make anything 😭😭 i’m gonna go on a production spree once it’s fixed
