The earliest opportunity at which Independence will release their decision on $NBIS Chapter 100 request will be February 4th. We will know for certain once the meeting agenda is released in approx ~4 days.

JUST IN: $NBIS announces Nebius AI Cloud 3.1. 🔥 $NBIS is now the first cloud provider in Europe running GB300 NVL72 systems in production, and the first globally to operate them on 800 Gbps NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand, effectively doubling throughput for large-scale distributed training and inference. This release is clearly aimed at customers moving from experimentation to AI at scale. Version 3.1 introduces Capacity Blocks and a real-time Capacity Dashboard, giving enterprises full visibility into GPU availability across regions and enabling much more precise resource planning in multi-team environments. On the infrastructure side, $NBIS continues to expand its Blackwell Ultra footprint with HGX B300 and GB300 NVL72 systems, alongside hardware-accelerated networking and improved storage caching to remove bottlenecks. This builds on Nebius’ strong MLPerf Training v5.1 results. Developer and enterprise features also take a step forward. Nebius AI Cloud 3.1 adds: - Simplified access to NVIDIA BioNeMo NIM microservices (no NGC keys or AI Enterprise licenses required) - Expanded Slurm-based orchestration and native Dstack integration - More granular quotas, lifecycle storage rules, and FOCUS-compliant billing exports for FinOps teams Security and governance were also strengthened, with new HIPAA-ready audit logs, per-object access controls, VPC security groups, and deeper Microsoft Entra ID integration Reminder: $NBIS is a production-grade AI cloud provider, not a raw compute reseller, and is purpose-built for AI at enterprise scale.
