The United Kingdom is one of the loneliest places on Earth. Not just the UK. It is a European thing. It got inculcated in them after the Bubonic Plague wiped out much of their population in the 14th and 16th Centuries, and social distancing was practised Europe-wide. Yes, there are people here. But community is not paramount. Individuality is more prevalent. Thus, everyone is too wrapped up in themselves to notice you. If you relocate from Africa to England, you will definitely miss Africa. Even British-born African people often relocate after their first taste of Africa. There is more to life than material prosperity. Life is about human contact and bonding. Loving your friends and family and being loved in return. Having people to share your ups and downs with. But in England, too often, even your own brother may not have time for you. And if you are not careful, the loneliness of Europe can push you into a nightlife that sets you on a downward spiral of casual sex, social drug and alcohol abuse, and fads like tattoos and piercings that you may or may not regret in later life.
Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and the rest of Black Africa have their challenges. But having travelled throughout Africa, I will say it is a much happier place to live in than anywhere in Europe.
