I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Senator Lindsey Graham, a steadfast friend of the Iranian people and a proud defender of freedom.

At moments when moral clarity was required, Senator Graham stood on the right side. When friends were seldom found, he stood alongside the people of Iran in their struggle against tyranny.

He used his voice to ensure that the voices of those fighting for justice were heard in the halls of power. His support for Iran’s Lion and Sun Revolution earned him the title “Uncle Lindsey” among Iranians. He will be remembered with profound gratitude and deep respect.

We extend our deepest condolences to Senator Graham’s family, loved ones, colleagues, and the people of South Carolina and the United States.

May he rest in peace and may others carry on the fight for freedom.

Six months ago, tonight, Tehran went dark. All of Iran went dark. And into that darkness, millions of Iranians walked out of their homes anyway.

January 8th and 9th were not just two nights of protest. They were the night Iran's silence broke. Millions came into the streets, into the squares, onto their rooftops — but the regime answered them with bullets. Tens of thousands of my compatriots were killed in those forty-eight hours. Tens of thousands more have been arrested, tortured, and sentenced to die since.

They came out, determined and brave. I think of them every day. On those two nights I lost countrymen I will never get to meet. I do not hear a statistic when I hear the number 40,000. I see a son who did not come home to his mother. A daughter who will not sit at her family's table again. I think of each of them the way I would think of my own child, my own brother, my own sister. I carry the weight of every one of those names. But the families of the fallen I meet with, week after week, hearten our nation's will to carry on. Their children did not die in vain. They died for freedom, and they died with pride.

History will remember what these men and women did; I will make sure of it. Like the resistance who stood against tyranny in occupied Europe, and like the revolutionaries who fought for liberty in America. But theirs was a particular bravery. They had no army, no air cover, nothing but the belief in what they stood for. They stood anyway. A united nation choosing to face the guns together rather than live one more day in fear. The men and women of the 8th and 9th of January will be remembered in Iran's history as the greatest generation that preferred to die free and standing than to live cowered on their knees.

To the international community, I ask this: do not let a negotiating table in Geneva or Islamabad erase what happened in the streets of Tehran, Mashhad, and Kermanshah. They died for freedom. And when they are free, the Strait of Hormuz will open. The nuclear threat will end. And we will have true peace.

I have told my compatriots: what you did on January 8th and 9th cannot be undone. Together, we will reclaim our country’s rightful place in the world, our national dignity, and honor the lives of our heroes. Now is the time to reassess, regroup, and rededicate ourselves to victory.

We honor the fallen by finishing what they started. A free Iran is no longer a matter of hope. It is a matter of fact.

And know that my brave compatriots are not just fighting for their own liberation but for the peace and stability of the world.

این کارزار ملی با گردهمایی‌های روز ۴ ژوئیه (۱۳ تیر) در برابر سفارتخانه‌های ایالات متحده در پایتخت‌های جهان آغاز خواهد شد.

پیام ما به ملت و دولت آمریکا در سالروز استقلال این کشور مشخص است: با تروریست‌ها معامله نکنید! مردم ایران را انتخاب کنید.

۲۵۰ سال پیش، آمریکا آزادی را برگزید. امروز نیز مردم ایران برای آزادی مبارزه می‌کنند.

معامله با رژیم جنایتکار جمهوری اسلامی در تضاد با آرمان‌ها و ارزش‌های ایالات متحده و جهان آزاد است.

هم‌میهنان در داخل کشور نیز می‌توانند با حفظ امنیت و پنهان نگه داشتن هویت خود، از طریق ضبط ویدئو بر مزار جاویدنامان، دیوارنویسی و دیگر روش‌های خلاقانه، پیام‌های مشابهی را خطاب به ملت و دولت آمریکا منتشر کنند.

As it signs a Memorandum of Understanding for “peace”, the Islamic Republic just executed two more protesters from January 8th and 9th.

This is the consequence of making a deal with this criminal regime. To do a deal with a regime that murdered more than 40,000 protestors in two days in January is morally wrong and strategically misguided.

Dealing with this regime will fail and we will all face the consequences. The regime’s 47-year war against the Iranian people continues. Just as it has never made peace with its own citizens, it will never truly make peace with the world.

The international community should back the people of Iran’s fight for freedom. Put them center in any negotiations and in their Iran policy. But let me be clear - with or without international support - this regime will fall. The people of Iran will liberate themselves from tyranny.

جمهوری اسلامی در حمایت از تروریست‌های حزب‌الله لبنان، درگیری نظامی دیگری را آغاز کرد تا ماهیت ناایرانی و ضدایرانی خود را آشکارتر کند. این رژیم، ملت ایران را به گروگان گرفته و جان و مال ایرانیان را ابزاری برای صدور ترور، جنگ و بی‌ثباتی می‌بیند.

در این درگیری نیز، همچون همیشه، مسئول هرگونه آسیب به زیرساخت‌های ایران و جان غیرنظامیان بی‌گناه در هر دو سو، جمهوری اسلامی است.

ملت ایران، که نخستین و بزرگ‌ترین قربانی این رژیم بوده است، به‌خوبی می‌داند که تا زمانی که جمهوری اسلامی بر سر کار باشد، ترور، خشونت و بی‌ثباتی بر ایران، منطقه و جهان سایه خواهد افکند. صلح، امنیت و رونق پایدار تنها با پایان این رژیم امکان‌پذیر است.

راه‌حل، مذاکره با سپاه پاسداران و تروریست‌های اشغالگر ایران نیست؛ راه‌حل، ایستادن در کنار ملت ایران و حمایت از مبارزه آن برای پایان دادن به جمهوری اسلامی است.

در روزهایی که شما با شجاعت در برابر رژیم اشغالگر ایران ایستاده‌اید، این نظام منفور و منزوی، همچنان به تجاوز به جان و مال مردم ادامه می‌دهد تا سرنگونی حتمی خود را اندکی به تعویق اندازد. در چنین شرایطی، وظیفه خود می‌دانم که تصویر عدالت در فردای ایران را برای کسانی که با جنایتکاران همکاری کنند، روشن‌تر ترسیم کنم.

در این راستا، از «کمیته‌ تدوین مقررات عدالت انتقالی ایران» خواستم درباره‌ دو موضوع مهم، نظر مشورتی خود را ارائه کند: نخست، موضوع مسئولیت کیفری افرادی که با ساختارهای سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی همکاری می‌کنند؛ و دوم، موضوع مصادره‌ اموال معترضان و خانواده‌های آنان.

این کمیته اکنون نخستین نظر مشورتی خود را صادر کرده و پیام آن روشن است: این اقدامات، همکاری‌های ساده یا بی‌اهمیت نیستند؛ بلکه «یاری‌رسانی به جنایت علیه بشریت» محسوب می‌شوند. هیچ مقام، هیچ دستور و هیچ بهانه‌ای نمی‌تواند مسئولیت کیفری فردی را از میان ببرد. بنابراین، هر فردی که آگاهانه و داوطلبانه با ساختارهای سرکوبگر رژیم همکاری کند، چه در داخل و چه در خارج از ایران، باید بداند که در معرض مسئولیت کیفری قرار خواهد گرفت:
خواه این همکاری از نوع گزارش‌دهی یا خبرچینی باشد؛
خواه از نوع مشارکت در ایست‌های بازرسی‌ باشد؛
خواه از نوع به‌کارگیری کودکان و نوجوانان در سرکوب معترضان باشد؛
و خواه از نوع تحصیل، انتقال یا خرید و فروش اموالی باشد که در جریان سرکوب از معترضان و خانواده‌های آنان مصادره شده‌ است.

از این رو، نه‌تنها افرادی که در صدور دستور، اجرای آن، یا تسهیل این مصادره‌ها نقش دارند در معرض مسئولیت قرار خواهند گرفت، بلکه کسانی که آگاهانه و داوطلبانه به خرید و فروش این اموال می‌پردازند نیز باید پاسخگو باشند. این مسئولیت، استفاده از اموال یا دارایی‌های آنان برای جبران خسارت واردشده به مالکان اصلی را نیز شامل می‌‌شود.

بنابراین، به همه‌ کسانی که امروز در صدد همکاری با دستگاه سرکوب رژیم هستند هشدار می‌دهم: پیش از آن‌که دست به اقدامی بزنید که به مردم ایران آسیب جانی، مالی و یا اجتماعی برساند، به آینده‌ خود و خانواده‌تان بیندیشید. به آن روز بیندیشید که ایران آزاد خواهد شد؛ روزی که حقیقت پنهان نخواهد ماند؛ روزی که اسامی آشکار خواهد شد؛ روزی که هیچ متجاوز و جنایتکاری از پاسخ‌گویی در برابر قانون در امان نخواهد ماند.

آن روز، ملت ایران حکومتی خواهد داشت که حقوق ایرانیان را محترم می‌دارد و ایران را به سرزمینی آزاد و آباد بدل می‌کند.

The Islamic Republic has launched missiles at the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. It is targeting our Arab neighbors.

These violations of their sovereignty are unacceptable and we condemn them. But this is nothing new.

This is who the Islamic Republic has always been. And this is why it must end.

For nearly five decades, this terrorist regime has sown chaos and bloodshed across our region.

It propped up Assad, turning Syria into a graveyard.

It planted Hezbollah; as a state within a state in Lebanon.

It armed the Houthis to destabilize the Arabian Peninsula.

It empowered militias in Iraq that undermine Iraqi sovereignty.

It attacked the economic hubs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

None of this has ever been the desire of the Iranian people, but rather that of the regime occupying our country. Now, however, the landscape has fundamentally shifted.

Assad is gone. Hezbollah has been decimated. The regime’s military nuclear program has been set back. Its economy is in freefall.

The pillars of this regime’s aggression are crumbling.

The Iranian people have paid the price, in blood, to reach this moment. The regime massacred at least tens of thousands of my compatriots in just two days. But it didn’t break the people. Instead, the regime itself is breaking.

Today, history reminds us of our future potential.

Before the revolution, Iran worked closely with Arab leaders — from King Faisal to Sheikh Zayed to King Hussein to President Sadat.

In Oman, my father helped Sultan Qaboos defend his country against insurgency.

We were true partners then. We will be true partners again.

The Iranian people have called on me to lead the transition after the regime is gone. I have accepted that responsibility. Part of their great mandate to me is to return our nation and our foreign relations to normalcy. I will do exactly that.

My commitment is to ensure the transition is orderly, the country is stabilized, and Iranians determine their future through the ballot box. We will not repeat the mistakes of past transitions. We will avoid de-Baathification scenarios and maintain as many bureaucrats and public servants in the transition as possible.

Iranians have made their choice — at an enormous price. Now I ask our friends in the Arab world to join us. To prepare to recognize and engage our transitional government.

We will rebuild our nation not for expansion, but to serve the Iranian people. We will base our diplomatic relations, not on exportation of ideology, but on mutual respect and shared interests. We will reintegrate into the regional and global economy to increase prosperity for the citizens of all of our nations.

Standing with the Iranian people is not charity. It is a strategic investment in making our region one of the most stable, secure, and prosperous in the world.

Together, we can build a Middle East our children will be proud to inherit.

Your efforts and work in recent weeks, and your remarkable presence on the Global Day of Action, have played a key role in changing global public opinion and influencing decision-makers to support the people of Iran.

In the sensitive days and weeks ahead, your role in sustaining this support to bring an end to the disgraceful reign of the Islamic Republic is vital.

Along this path, I ask you to undertake the following activities:

Contact representatives and decision-makers in your countries of residence. Persuade them that support for the people of Iran must continue until the very moment the Islamic Republic falls. Also emphasize the inviolability of Iran’s territorial integrity. Stress full commitment to the will of the Iranian people in establishing the country’s future system of government. And insist on the utmost care to prevent harm to civilians.

In dialogue and correspondence with media outlets and civil institutions, convey the clear message and demand of the people of Iran in the most appropriate manner.

By participating in large marches, demonstrate and express what the people of Iran want.

Decisive moments lie ahead of us—moments that will shape Iran’s future for decades and centuries to come. Redouble your efforts.

You are the children of Arash, who placed his very life into his arrow. Devote your every last ounce of energy to sustaining global support for erasing this Zahhak-like regime from the sacred soil of Iran.

A heavy burden of destiny rests upon the shoulders of us all. And we, together, will walk this path until final victory.
