Before he became a name in every history book, he was just like any other 14 year old boy. his mother's courage turned unimaginable grief into a movement that changed this country. Nearly 71 years later, the fight to keep his story told accurately isn't finished and organizations like the Emmett Till Legacy Foundation and The Till Institute are still making efforts toward amplifying truth.
