Since 1988, polarization in the US has been overwhelmingly due to the Left moving leftward, while the Right has basically stayed the same. This is according to a new analysis using k-means clustering, which measures actual positions instead of self-labels.

California's Central Valley produces 80% of the world's almonds. Each almond requires 3.2 gallons of actual irrigation water to grow. Not rainfall. Actual tap water pumped from aquifers.
One gallon of almond milk requires 162 gallons of irrigation water. Compare that to dairy milk at 8 gallons of tap water per gallon, with the rest being rainfall that falls on pasture anyway.
But here's where it gets properly grim. Almonds bloom for exactly three weeks in February. During those three weeks, California needs every pollinating bee in North America transported to the Central Valley or the crop fails entirely.
Commercial beekeepers truck in 31 billion honeybees. That's two-thirds of America's entire managed bee population, all concentrated in one valley for three weeks. The bees are packed into trucks, driven across the country, dumped into almond groves drenched in pesticides, worked to exhaustion, then packed up and shipped to the next crop.
The mortality rate is catastrophic. Beekeepers report losing 30 to 50% of their hives annually. That's billions of bees dead. Not from natural causes. From being used as disposable pollination machines for your almond milk.
The pesticides don't help. Almond groves are sprayed with neonicotinoids which scramble bee navigation systems, fungicides which weaken their immune systems, and herbicides which eliminate the wildflowers they'd normally forage on between almond blooms.
Meanwhile the aquifer depletion is permanent. The Central Valley has sunk 28 feet in some areas from groundwater extraction. That water took 10,000 years to accumulate. It's being drained in decades for almond milk.
Your vegan latte killed more bees and used more water than a year's worth of dairy milk. But it's got "plant-based" on the label so you're definitely saving the planet.
If we actually taught raw, unfiltered history in schools...the blood-soaked, soul-crushing truth instead of this sanitized, revisionist horseshit...the Left would lose half its recruiting pool overnight.
Teach kids what the Bolsheviks actually did: a fanatical minority of intellectuals and agitators, drunk on Marxist poison, overthrew a crumbling regime in 1917 promising “peace, land, and bread.”
What they delivered was the Red Terror...Cheka death squads executing 100,000–250,000 without trial, shooting priests in the street, drowning officers tied to planks, starving entire villages into submission.
Teach the psychology: how Lenin’s “vanguard” justified any atrocity as “historically necessary, how useful idiots in the West swooned over the “workers’ paradise” while millions were worked to death in the first Gulag camps.
Then show how that same Bolshevik machine birthed Stalin’s Holodomor...engineered famine in Ukraine that starved 4–6 million while grain was exported.
Mao’s Great Leap Forward that killed 30–45 million in the name of “equality.”
Pol Pot’s killing fields where wearing glasses got you executed.
Every single time.
Teach the visceral pattern: utopian promises always slide into mass graves because power concentrates, resentment is weaponized, and humanity breaks under ideology.
Teach that the road to hell is paved with moral grandstanding and envy dressed as justice.
But no.
Instead we get 1619 Project fanfiction, endless white guilt seminars, and lessons that paint America as uniquely evil while glossing over the fact that every civilization had slavery, conquest, and brutality...ours just happened to end it while others still practice it today.
We don’t teach the why of human nature: tribalism, the will to power, how demagogues exploit the eternal human weakness for free shit and revenge fantasies.
So when some blue-haired activist screams “eat the rich” or “defund the police” or “from the river to the sea,” millions of historically illiterate kids nod along because they’ve never seen what those slogans actually produce when tried in the real world.
They’ve never smelled the mass graves.
If we taught real history...ferocious, ugly, precise../they’d recognize the Bolshevik playbook being dusted off and run again right in front of them.
Instead, we raise generations of useful idiots who think they’re on the right side of history while marching straight into the same fucking slaughterhouse their grandparents escaped.
The Left needs historical amnesia to survive.
That’s why they fight so hard to control the curriculum.
Wake the fuck up.
Teach the truth, blood, horrors and all, or watch the cycle repeat with fresh corpses.
Fuck this revisionist, sanitized, soft bullshit. We are raising a nation of fucking pussies and useful idiots.
💀🔪
It's crazy how much we've forgotten since the pandemic, like Tim Walz's use of National Guard soldiers and Minneapolis PD police to force people to stay in their homes. How did this ever actually happen!?
One might look at the last 50 years and conclude the following:
-Deindustrialization hollowed out the working class.
-Financialization enriched asset-holding elites.
-Debt-fueled credit expansion encouraged the growth of economic bubbles.
-Globalization turned America’s ruling class into tourists in their own country.
If these are all accurate conclusions (which they are), it carries with it a damning indictment against our current ruling class. They’re essentially a bunch of parasitic leeches with no national loyalty and little productive capacity who simply got rich by manipulating the value of money itself.
So how do you keep that going? All ruling classes need a moral justification to explain why they’re in charge, and our oikophobic elites are no exception. In fact, they’re in dire need of a legitimizing mythos more than perhaps any other ruling class in history.
Previous elites like the aristocracies or robber barons of the 19th century could point to their role in securing military victories or industrializing the economy to justify their position in society. But the managerial class don’t fight for anyone or build anything.
So how do they justify their position?
They needed a powerfully persuasive ideology that couches their own existence at the top of the social hierarchy in morally unassailable terms. Such an ideology would have to delegitimize dissent against the system and redirect the inevitable public backlash away from the regime itself.
Wokeness became that justifying mythos.
It offered a very elegant solution to a very pressing problem: how to maintain control over a population that your monetary system had economically and spiritually gutted.
Even more ingenious was the fact that Wokeism not only shielded elites who were waging war on middle America, it presented middle America itself as the villain! It told the dispossessed working classes of largely straight White Christian men in this country that their sufferings were not only irrelevant, but morally justified due to their racism, homophobia, sexism, toxic masculinity, whiteness, and in case none of that worked, their “unconscious bias”.
Wokeism presented itself as some sort of grassroots-driven challenge to power, but in reality it shielded power by redirecting blame onto the very people who were being screwed over by the system. It criminalized dissent by redefining it in morally absolutist terms, not as a security threat like every other regime in the past would have done, but as hateful.
This is why every major institution adopted it seemingly all at once. Not because Wokeism emerged from below, but because it solved a problem from above. Universities, corporations, banks, NGOs, the media, federal agencies—all of them are structurally dependent on the financial architecture of the fiat Dollar system, which middle America would seek to end once they inevitably connected the dots. Wokeism provided a way to make those institutions morally unassailable.
It’s genius if you think about it.
Wealthy, all white, Naperville boomers, who have absolutely nothing better to do on a Tuesday, incoherently waving pride, Canadian, and “freedom matters” flags in protest against…something. It’s the dumbest “movement” ever being done by the most narcissistic generation ever.
The late 60’s/early 70’s culture shift was the most destructive force in modern American history and every remaining free-love hippy should be thrown into a volcano.
Former FBI Dir. Chris Wray to Biden, in a Jan 10th letter:
"I hope these letters are unnecessary, and that you are not considering a pardon or commutation," he wrote. "But on behalf of the FBI family, and out of an abundance of caution, I want to make sure our position is clear: Peltier is a remorseless killer, who brutally murdered two of our own–Special Agents Jack Coler and Ronald Williams. Granting Peltier any relief from his conviction or sentence is wholly unjustified and would be an affront to the rule of law."

JOE BIDEN’S DISASTROUS PRESIDENCY IN 25 PHOTOS
I am not an artist, but I love the power of photos and the stories they tell.
Here are 25 photos I think tell the story of the Biden years.

I read the legal opinion. Here's what you should know:
➡️TikTok lost almost every single argument it made.
➡️This is a 9-0 ruling. That sends a resounding message.
➡️TikTok's data collection practices are insane. The app gather data that other apps normally consider off limits, including the content of users' private messages, and the full contents of a user's device contacts.
➡️It's the last part that concerned the SCOTUS justices the most. If you have an email contact who has a TikTok account, China has your name, email, and possibly your phone number, photo, and more.
➡️Chinese law requires its social media companies (including TikTok and its parent company, ByteDance) to "assist or cooperate" with the Chinese government's "intelligence work" and to ensure that the Chinese government has "the power to access and control private data."
➡️Congress and the FBI worry that this info (and more) could be used for espionage or to compile blackmail dossiers on elected officials or government employees. All 9 SCOTUS justices agree that the need to prevent espionage overrules any First Amendment concerns.
➡️You should have stopped watching those stupid dancing videos months ago.
@yeeeerika TV shows should be a minimum of 15 episodes long per season. How do you get away with 10 (sometimes 6!!) overly-produced, poorly written episodes every 2 years? Our shows used to be on for HALF the year EVERY year.
Why did Jaguar do the thing?
Why did Harley do the thing?
Why is every company doing the thing and alienating their consumer bases-- bases they understand more than they understand themselves?

A 🧵
Many of my Dem/left friends feel rage at Trump voters and masochistic hatred for America, which they see as having succumbed to its own latent transhistorical forces of racism and sexism.
This belief is not only false, as @Musa_alGharbi shows in this 🧵, but it also destroys mental health and, I think, makes it nigh impossible to rebuild the party to regain broad appeal.
Harris didn't lose because of racism or sexism, nor because of wealthy elites, third parties, or turnout.
