SQL is not for the weak… I swear
Yesterday again I walked through the foundation:
Created a database (CREATE DATABASE lenicle;)
Created a table (student)
Defined its columns (with data types, of course)
“SQL is commonly grouped into:
Data Definition Language,
Data Manipulation Language, and
Data Querying Language
Yesterday was DDL day → Built the house (database + table structure)
Today, DML day, moved the furniture inside 😆.
Filled the defined columns using:
INSERT INTO → adding new records/rows
UPDATE → changing existing values
DELETE → removing rows we no longer want
True, SQL rewards attentive carefulness and punishes carelessness—but that’s exactly why it’s powerful.
Building real structure, one command at a time.
Who else is grinding SQL right now?
Drop your current level or what you’re working on
💪🥂
