I'm looking for a Director's Assistant to work with me through prep and production on an upcoming project. (To be clear: director's assistant, not assistant director.)
You'd be next to me through the whole process: my schedule, my script and notes, research, and the day-to-day of getting a film made. It's real work and a real role, but since you'll be close to how I work, I also want to make it a chance to learn. I used to run workshops and can't anymore, so think of the mentorship as part of the deal.
The details:
• Paid at a production assistant's rate — fair pay for full-time work
• Manila-based, with some shoots in nearby provinces (travel and lodging covered)
• Runs from prep through the end of the shoot
• What matters most to me: someone organized, dependable, discreet, and eager to learn. Film background is a plus, not a must.
If that sounds like you, send your CV and a short note to [email protected] by June 23, 2026. And tell me one thing: a film you love, and why. I read every one.
Email only please, not DMs, and feel free to share this with someone who'd be right for it
No one talks about how hard it is to open up to someone about being sad for no reason. how hard it is to explain to your friends & family that you have a heavy feeling in your chest for no reason.
