Gavin Newsom just drove out a $100M Netflix show to New Jersey (which was originally slated to shoot in CA) all because he denied the show a film tax credit. This is what's happening to the US, more broadly. Tax credits win productions, productions bring jobs. Anyone who doesn't compete will be left in the dust.

Ironically, the show is called "Trigger Point", which is a wildfire term firefighters use to determine when it's time to bug out...which is exactly what the film industry is doing.

The Samuel Sey vs. Dale Partridge debate on the Curse of Ham was... interesting, to say the least.

Samuel did extremely well. While Dale spent most of his time eisegeting the text and leaning on broad "federal" claims when the Bible didn’t support his framework, Samuel stuck with Scripture, drew the conclusions the text actually gives, and called out Dale's errors multiple times. It really wasn't close.

Samuel's closing was excellent as well.
