Kenyan authorities in Malaysia have issued an urgent appeal after a Kenyan woman was found disoriented at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The woman was discovered alone and reportedly confused, unable to clearly state her identity or travel details. According to the Kenya High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, she speaks fluent Swahili, English, and Kikuyu, but the only name she has been able to mention is “Ishra.” She cannot recall her full name, her family, or where she was traveling from.
She has since been admitted to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur and is said to be in stable condition. However, her memory remains unclear despite receiving medical care.
The Kenyan mission in Malaysia is now appealing to the public, both in Kenya and abroad, to help identify her or link authorities with her family members.
Anyone with information that could assist is urged to contact +60 12 392 9084 immediately.
