Not every inspiring sporting story ends with a trophy. Over the last few days, Lakshya Sen has shown India what courage, resilience and belief truly look like. His run to another All England final, through extraordinary wins and immense physical pain, has been about far more than a result. He has reminded young India that greatness lies not only in winning, but in the honesty of effort, the dignity of the fight and the strength to keep believing. I am Proud of you, @lakshya_sen . Very, very proud.
Today, the people of Ladakh are anti-national; yesterday, farmers were anti-national, before that, the anti-CAA protestors; before that, the students of JNU, and the writers and artists.

For years, India's BJP govt has tried to ingratiate itself to MAGA. It courted GOP lawmakers, even as it attacked progressive Dems of Indian origin. It lashed out at mainstream media in the West as it tried to cozy up to far-right influencers in Trump's orbit. For what?
"Howdy, Modi" and "Abki Baar Trump Sarkar" has yielded a punishing tariff regime, and done nothing to dent growing animosity to Indian H1B visa holders or virulent anti-Indian racism among the US online right. Congrats to all involved.
Really?? Trolling Bumrah? Hope you aren't among those but If you are, fair to say you have no idea of what you have to endure to become a Bumrah. And you have no appreciation for one of India's greatest matchwinners who, as it turns out, bowls more overs than almost any other bowler.
I hope the IMF which gave a $ 1 billion loan to Pakistan last night realises that it has BLOOD ON ITS HANDS. India abstained, but shouldn’t many others who speak of ‘zero tolerance to terror’ have joined us ?
In a shocking incident at Mulachintalapalle Village in Nagarkarnool district of Telengana Eswaramma, a woman held in bonded labor conditions for two years, was brutally tortured by her employers,
@PenguinIndia "I have as much soul as you and full as much heart. And if God had possessed me with beauty and wealth, I could make it as hard for you to leave me as it is for I to leave you". - Jane Eyre
"Perfection is impossible.
In the 1,526 singles matches I played in my career, I won almost 80% of those matches.
But what percentage of points did I win?
54%
In other words, even top ranked tennis players win barely more than half the points they play.
When you lose ever second point on average, you learn not to dwell on every shot.
You teach yourself to think:
'Okay, I double faulted...it's only a point.'
'Okay, I came to the net and I got passed again...it's only a point.'
Even a great shot, an overhead backhand smash that ends up on ESPN's top 10 playlist – that too is just a point.
Here's why I'm telling you this.
When you're playing a point, it has to be the most important thing in the world. And it is.
But when it's behind you, it's behind you.
This mindset is crucial – because it frees you to fully commit to the next point with intensity, clarity, and focus."
