Quick question for parents & athletes navigating NIL:
What confusing about NIL feels?
- Contracts?
- Rules?
- Pricing deals?
- Who to trust?
I want to bring clarity to NIL.
Running a short survey this week to validate the real problem.

We’ve been pretty quiet lately.
Not because we’ve stopped building. Because we’ve been building. We’re creating specialized AI professionals, starting with Boone and Bart R&D to help make NIL easier to understand. More coming soon.
most people think the future of AI is bigger models.
i’m starting to think the future is specialized intelligence.
over the last year i’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what happens when you stop asking a model to know everything and instead ask it to become exceptionally useful at one thing.
that’s part of the thinking behind bart.
B.A.R.T.
business agreements & rights tracker.
the original idea was simple.
could a focused intelligence system help athletes, families, coaches, and programs better understand agreements, sponsorship structures, rights, obligations, and the questions they should be asking?
not replace attorneys.
not replace agents.
not replace advisors.
simply help people become more informed.
what i’ve learned is that the model itself may not be the advantage.
memory matters.
context matters.
specialized knowledge matters.
purpose matters.
and increasingly i think skills.md matters.
imagine a future where expertise becomes portable.
instead of buying software, organizations subscribe to specialized knowledge systems.
an athletic department could subscribe to a recruiting skill.
a coach could subscribe to an analytics skill.
an athlete could subscribe to an NIL skill.
a sponsor could subscribe to a partnership evaluation skill.
the underlying models will continue to improve.
the differentiator may become the knowledge, memory, workflows, and decision frameworks sitting on top of them.
sports business is becoming more complex.
NIL is evolving.
revenue sharing is emerging.
agreements are becoming more sophisticated.
the demand for decision support is only increasing.
i don’t think the future belongs to a single model.
i think the future belongs to specialized intelligence systems that get better over time solving specific problems.
that’s the future i’m interested in building toward.
been quietly working on something bigger than a logo refresh.
when i first started building NAMiX, the original logo made sense for where my head was at. it looked fast. futuristic. ai-driven. very “startup.”
but over time i realized something important.
NAMiX is not just another ai tool.
it is becoming a system built around NIL clarity, athlete protection, opportunity, and decision-making. especially for athletes and families who feel overwhelmed by how fast this space is moving.
the old logo felt like software.
the new direction needed to feel like signal.
less hype.
more trust.
less “look at the technology.”
more “this is where important decisions become clear.”
the new identity is cleaner, sharper, and more intentional. the goal was to create something that could live on:
reports
athlete intel
contract reviews
social content
future products
apparel
an app icon
and eventually become recognizable without needing to explain itself
i also wanted to move away from generic ai startup aesthetics and build something that feels more premium, athletic, calm, and built to last.
the funny thing is the more we refined it, the simpler it became.
that usually means you’re getting closer.
NAMiX is still early.
but this feels like the first version of the brand that actually matches the vision in my head.
NIL clarity.
compliance.
opportunity.
more coming soon.
