@divomria i kinda think it ties more how viktor is dealing/not dealing with his illness? like at this point he’s convinced he can save himself with the hexcore so he never even considers the risks, and that single minded determination also drives him to use shimmer despite more risks

@dervelf agree and i think it’s strange to put so much focus on viktor’s feelings leading to his actions while simultaneously ignoring that all of jayce’s worst actions follow moments of extreme stress/trauma (he was also caught in the explosion & saw the bodies of his colleagues)
