Thomas Massie on Meet the Press today, on the Epstein Files Transparency Act:
"Probably the only bill that has passed Washington in the last ten years that lobbyists haven't written."
Six months since it became law. The files are still sealed.
So it takes the:
Deputy Chief of Staff,
Secretary of War,
Vice President,
President of the United States,
and $32 million
to try to unseat @MassieforKY?
It’s clear what this is, and it isn’t about getting a bad candidate out of office.
Brett Meiselas on Trump's J6er fund: "I don't know how you could be a Trump supporter who's earning $20-$30k. Inflation is absolutely crushing you like it is all of us ... And you're cheering on the guy who is taking $1.776B of your money and giving it to his friends and his allies and people who attacked this country. It is unfathomable."
"I absolutely don't believe it is legal. And I worked at the Justice Department," says Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet. "This is shameful what he is doing with the Justice Department."
Maddow: So in January, Trump buys hundreds of thousands of dollars of stock in Nvidia. Then a week later, his commerce department approves the sale of Nvidia chips to China.
Also in January, Trump buys between 50,000 and $100,000 worth of stock in AMD. One week after he buys it, his commerce department approves AMD doing business in China as well.
The following month, in February, Trump buys millions of dollars worth of stock in Dell. Nine days after he buys millions of dollars worth of stock in Dell, Trump veers off script in a speech in Georgia to tell the crowd literally, quote, go out and buy a Dell computer.
Then in March, Judd Legum at Popular Information reports that Trump repeatedly buys up Thermo Fisher stock, and then he goes and visits Thermo Fisher on a presidential visit and praises the company.
That same day, Trump bought hundreds of thousands of dollars of stock in Apple. And then that same day he bought the stock, he did another event where he singled out Apple and Apple CEO Tim cook for praise. Apple a great company.
Then after that, Trump buys Micron stock. The very next day, he calls into the Fox News channel and tells them Micron is one of the hottest companies.
CNBC reporting Trump makes seven separate purchases of Palantir stock. Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of Palantir stock. Then he gets on truth social and praises Palantir.
BREAKING: Did Todd Blanche just commit malpractice for failing to file even one motion to defend the American people before agreeing to the creation of 1.77B settlement fund in Trump’s IRS lawsuit. @MeidasTouch
Voter at a town hall on Republican gerrymandering:
"These maps are the wet dream of soft men who won't even look up from their phones to face their voters. These are men who lust for a world where the powerful do what they can and the rest of us suffer what we must. Jesus wept."
Surprise! The Trump sons are ripping you off…again. This time Don Jr. & Eric took $59M from MAGA supporters for a "Made in USA" gold Trump phone, then quietly added fine print saying customers may never get one or see their money again.
There were about 100-150 victims after 2008, according to well informed sources. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Epstein was not paying only victims. So who in Russia got rich and why won’t @SecScottBessent let us see?
Families across the U.S. are feeling the impact of the biggest cost-of-living jump in three years, driven by the war with Iran. From surging gas prices to beef hitting record highs, @RebeccaJarvis reports on what many Americans are saying about the strain. https://t.co/QgOcD9GKe1
The Treasury Department is still withholding Epstein-related Suspicious Activity Reports tied to $1.5 billion in wire transfers. These records must be released immediately.
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink declares a pre-emptive war against American citizens who fight back against his precious AI data centers, warning that people could use inexpensive drones.
He admits that BlackRock will control nearly all of the AI data centers being built across the United States because the government cannot afford to fund them on its own.
“We have to relook at all forms of security.”
“Could it be domestic terrorism using a $3,000 drone?”
“Many more things will have to be underground.”
@GovPressOffice@forgoodnessakes And why are at least 1/3 of the “ball room donors” also in the Epstein files?
I spent months cross referencing the names and associations. https://t.co/RxXx7wUxv5
@safety@nikitabier Investigative reporter Julie K. Brown (@jkbjournalist), who has covered Jeffrey Epstein for years, has been locked out of her @X account since Saturday and has been unable to regain access. Any help getting her access back would be greatly appreciated.
