The Prince of Egypt (1998) is a masterpiece that still doesn’t get its due. DreamWorks pushed hand-drawn animation to its limit, over 900 artists across 34 departments built those sweeping, painterly visuals. A genuine animated epic hiding in plain sight.
men are the real gold diggers. they expect you to give them your body, play maid, cook their meals, raise their kids, clean their mess, pamper their fragile egos, and take the brunt of emotional labor, all while holding down a job and splitting the bills !!
Women shouldn’t be expected to give up their surnames after marriage. In fact, it makes far more sense for children to carry their mother’s surname.
A father contributes 50% of the genetic material, but 100% of the pregnancy, risk, labour, birth, and early survival of the child comes from the mother’s body. Her health, her blood, her organs, her hormones, her literal life on the line. If anyone’s legacy deserves to be carried forward, it is the person who creates, grows, births, and often raises the child. A husband’s surname isn’t inherently more “family” than a wife’s. It’s just a patriarchal custom that treats men as lineage and women as vessels. We don’t have to keep repeating it.
Colonialism is insane. You murder, rape, pillage and take these people’s land and use it for your own pleasure and have the nerve to demonize them for existing in their own homes. Just pure evil
He got released and received no prison time because his parents had connections from working at Oklahoma State University. He raped and abused three girls and even recorded himself choking one of them until she went unconscious. The only reason he was arrested is because he violated a restraining order. One of the girls had to get multiple surgeries from internal damage.
As he got handcuffed his mother had the audacity to say “what a terrible thing for a kid to go through” when her son tried to kill and raped there girls. He’ll continue to hurt women because he knows he can get away it. Won’t be surprised if next time he really does kill someone.
